I am curious to get the thoughts/predictions from you all as to the chances that each of the following emerges next year as solid contributors to the team...

C Jackson..
LeKevin Smith
Oscar Lua
David Thomas

Thanks...it would be great if they all do.

Brandon Meriweather

Of those you mentioned, possibly LeKevin Smith if they switch to a 4-3.

Pierre Woods could as well. He had a great training camp this past season and could see an increased workload in '08.

Agreed on Meriweather.

But of those you listed, I think Chad Jackson is just waiting for his chance, and if he gets it I expect him to be good.

I'd love to see Chad turn into a big time player.

Only 22 years old, we'd be blessed for years to come!

I wouldn't be surprised to see Chad off the team.

He complained loudly about lack of play.

Merriweather could step up and start. Maybe David Thomas can be used as a pass catching weapon.

The others are backups.

With the seventh pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots select Vernon Gholston, DE/OLB from Ohio State ........
