Deleted everything.
Gone.
Never happened.

A proctologist is in the process of removing it from a Giants fan....then it will go out the window!

Post of the day! :D And it really took something to get a smile out of me given what happened Sunday...thanks!

Turned it off when Bill walked off the field, didn't do anything but sit for about an hour. Tried to go to bed, couldn't sleep. Got up, went to the computer to work on the family taxes until about 3 AM. Still couldn't sleep, went to see what was on the TV that wasn't football related. Deleted ALL the Patriots recordings from this year in Tivo. No need to look back. It is now 3PM on Tuesday, and this is the first time I have done anything sports related since Sunday night. No radio, TV, newspapers, websites, nothing. Trying to forget, but I can't so I though I would stop by and see how everyone else is fairing.......:(

This is why I haven't erased anything. There's nothing to erase. In fact, I hear the NFL will be resuming play this fall after it's one year hiatus :D

I erased the game on my DVR at about 30 minutes after the game,I cannot handle watching Brady get pummeled a million times and the Giants hoisting the trophy.

Only diehard Sadistic fans will want to keep the recording and watch this game again

So did you erase the game off your DVR like me or did you still keep it on there or record it in another fashion?
i taped the game on my vcr. once the game was over. i pulled the tape out and threw it in the woods .just like i did in 86 when the sox lost game 6 in the ws.

Yesterday, for some reason, I watched from the start of the Patriots go ahead drive 'til the end of the game. I erased it immediately afterwards.

I erased it the moment I saw Belichick actually hugging Coughlin. DELETED! P.S. after what I just saw on ESPN, I now hope that Michael Strahan will suffer a career ending injury, "No" not in the off season, but at the hands of either Jr. SEAU or Rodney Harrison. HOW DARE HE! You what!!!!!! You stomped us out! OH MY GOD! How more arrogant can you be! F......U..... Strahan! May your life be filled with anguish and pain. I can't wait for the day I see you grovelling on ESPN 20 years from now about how you lost all your money, became and alcoholic, and embraced finally the homosexual lifestyle. Up yours you piece of ungreatful excrament. If it wasn't for the PATRIOTS you would 'nt have the stage yoru standing on today. WATCH YOUR BACK! And to think I thought you were actually cool. YOU DEAD BEAT DAD, piece of cra---p--ola!

About 7.5 seconds after it ended...

I also erased all the 2007 regular season and playoff games I had, too...

I need a break from football...

Everything from this season has been deleted. Everything. I started the moment the Giants took over on downs, after stopping the recording.

I've already copied everything to my computer. I have the first 4 games burned to DVD, I'll finish every game including the SuperBowl. Why, it's history and it's an important lesson. I'm already over the loss completely, I stayed up all night Sunday, at 5am I realized that I was being stupid, took a shower and went to work (In Pittsburgh), I took shots all day, no biggie.

I'm going to put the entire season on DVD and re watch everything, including the Superbowl. This season will be remembered by me for this reason, it's a stepping stone to what they missed out on this year.

With all the ranting we heard from Mercury Morris, one things stands out " We never thought about being undefeated, we just kept thinking about the Superbowl we just lost "

I'm sorry everyone deleted everything, because I love watching some of those amazing games and plays. What the Patriots did this year was special, it would have been better if they won the SB, but the fact they didn't doesn't ruin the entire season for me as a FAN.

That is all

last night. on sunday, i turned my set off as soon as bb shook coughlin's hand.

interesting. your question reminds me of how long it took me to erase my VHS tape of Game Six in 1986. i'd put the tape in for the ninth inning, wanting to capture the moment we won the World Series. i ejected that tape that night and couldn't touch it for over a year.

Sunday's loss hurt a lot and will hurt for sometime. But, this was a loss by a recognized Champion and an elite franchise. in 1986, we were seeking that kind of legitimacy after, what, 70 years. that hurt a lot more, to me, at least.

What's hard about watching the other games is that, at the time, I thought they were blazing their way to football immortality, setting records, killing opponents, making dramatic comebacks....simply put, the most fascinating team I've ever watched.

Now it's like, "what was the point?" Play hard for 1139 minutes and lay down for the last one?

I had the AFC championship, the post-game celebration and coverage, the Media Day (which I never got a chance to sit down and watch), and the Super Bowl...and I deleted it all immediately following the game. Without hesitation.

The Broncos 1996 AFC Divisional Playoff defeat to the Jacksonville was the most painful loss I ever took as a fan. It scarred me for a long time, but I kept the tape and rewatching it doesn't bother me anymore.

I am also immune now when I watch NFL Network re-runs of the Broncos three 1980s Super Bowl losses. There was a time where it still hurt, but over a period of 10-20 years you get over it.

It will take a long time, but I think someday you guys will sit down and watch the Super Bowl again and you will have more positive feelings because of the nostalga aspect.

I know it pains you so much because how close you came to a once in a lifetime/century season, but you guys really have nothing to be ashamed of. Try going outside and wearing your Bronco gear after a 55-10 drubbing. Now that is embarrassing.

I just d/l'd it today.

don't tell me who won.

Yup. I stopped and deleted at this point as well. The next day I deleted all the other games and programs that I knew I would never watch again. It truly, truly sucked.

Is anyone actually going to keep this one and watch it again? If so, wow.

I plan to watch it again this week.

might even save it for september.
