I erased the game on my DVR at about 30 minutes after the game,I cannot handle watching Brady get pummeled a million times and the Giants hoisting the trophy.

Only diehard Sadistic fans will want to keep the recording and watch this game again

So did you erase the game off your DVR like me or did you still keep it on there or record it in another fashion?

I erased more than 200 gigs of Pats footage. game of the week, all access etc :(

Immediately. Along with every other game from the 2007 season. Every highlight seems so hollow now.

Immediately after the game - seeing it once was enough.

With about 5 seconds left in the game.

Yep, immediately after the game, as well as all the media day coverage, press conferences, etc., etc., etc., etc. I still love the NFL Network, but it's way too painful to watch any of their coverage again.

I honestly can't remember. I rewatched Manning's escape and Samuel's missed INT. After that I am not sure if I erased it in disgust or not. I think I kinda blacked out, I can't remember what I did.

Threw the disc in the rubbish never want to reuse it again

Threw away all VHS tapes recorded this season (from week 17 through SB)
Uh buh-bye

I still have it on the drive, along with every other game from the season. Keeping myself from making any rush decisions cause once they gone they gone but I'll most likely delete them all. I'll probably watch the SB again once just to try and see what the hell happened. I left the 06 AFCCG sitting there for more than a year and tried to force myself to re-watch it and just couldn't...I took that loss harder than this one, it probably that one conditioned me for this year. but I NEED to know WTF happened, how did the O line turn into a row of turnstiles? HOW did manning get away from that sack? Why was no one else there to lay in a hit on Tyree on that amazing catch while Rodney fought for the ball? HOW did Woods not come up with that fumble?

alas the Fox coverage is so damn crappy I'll probably never get to see any of this stuff but I'll have to take another try in a week or so.....then it gets deleted :(

I'll wait 'til recordings on My DVR overwrite it next season, including regular season games, playoffs, and the super bowl (victory this time). That loss sitting on the hard drive of my DVR won't corrupt it, will it? ;)

Edit, what BostonBullit said too.

Deleted it right after the game...no need to watch the horror again...

I checked it yesterday... I wanted to see the final 4 minutes of the game. I don't know - I must like torture. My husband set it, and didn't do it manually -- The "scheduled" end time of the game only recored until 10:30pm.. When I pushed the SKIP TO END button, there was 7:48 left to go. Wasted.. immediately hit ERASE. In hindsight, that was probably best -

I'm still deciding what to do. One part of me wants to re-watch it, but it will probably just hurt too much after the fact again. The could-of/would-of's. I was doing better all day, until I just thought that if the Pats sacked Eli on that play, I think it would have been like 4th and 15 with no time outs and the clock ticking away. Man, this sucks.

I recording the game on two DVR's, one HD and one lo-def but which I can archive to DVD. I erased both copies immediately after the game, just as I did after last year's AFC Championship game. I will NEVER want to watch either one again. And while I still have the victorious playoff games from both seasons on my lo-def DVR I will probably erase them soon too. Why would I ever want to watch them again when they will only serve to remind me of the painful endings?

Exactly. I deleted all the pregame stuff also and stopped the autorecording for PTI and ATH. I just want to hear something good come out of Gillette...a new contract for Moss, a return by Seau/Tedy, whatever...anything to turn the page. This is the worst I have felt in a long time about anything.

Deleted during the debacle of BB and Coughlin shaking hands and the clock reset, no need to torture myself with repeated "what ifs".

I haven't gotten to erasing it yet. I guess that I was just keeping it to watch the final drive of the game. I am having a real problem remembering most of it due to excessive drinking.;)

I am no masochist. It was gone as soon as I got home from watching the game in NH.
