If any team in the NFL has the ability to compartmentalize it is the Pats. I have no doubt they will analyze what happened and improve in the area's needed for next season. They are a great football team that happened to get beat. Period. What ever doesn't kill you will make you stronger.

Your recovery will happen much quicker if you don't subject yourself to all the BS on TV and in print. Refrain from watching it or reading about it for a couple weeks and I gaurantee you will feel much better. Don't play the blame game and don't play the "what if" game it's not going to change the outcome and it's not going to make you feel any better. Remember BB's words "It is what it is". Lastly, coming to Pats Fans and speaking with like minded people is one of the best things you can do to help get over it. The Pats will be back and they will be a force to be recond with.

I'm just focusing on our next opponent!

Don't forget, this is a team who built up the mental strength to take on each and every game with the hype surrounding each game as if it was the SB. They were mentally tough and likely to become even stronger mentally. As long as there are no injuries, they should be able to handle it better than anyone else.

FWIW--the correct question is not "What if?" The correct questions are "What can?" and "What will?"--"What can we do to improve? What will we do to improve?"

I agree. I would bet the Patriots are going to start that process very soon if they haven't already.

It's just a game. We'll live. I keep telling myself that. My head still hurts from slamming it against the street Sunday night.
