Please tell me this is just a nightmare

It can't be a nightmare, because that weird woman with snakes for arms isn't chasing me, but I can only run really slow, and I'm not falling down any bottomless pits lined by the mocking faces of all of my friends and loved ones.

Nope, looks like this one might be for real.

Our best (and only) hope is the Wayback Machine. Paging Mr. Peabody and Sherman. Mr. Peabody and Sherman, please report to University of Phoenix Stadium. Mr. Peabody and Sherman, University of Phoenix Stadium. Thank you.

I just hope I don't end up like that crazy Rams fan who posts here with the many different colored fonts.

yeah that guy really sucks.

funny stuff bud.

What a bunch of babies--"We've been through so much this year". Your whining me makes me want to puke. You have no clue what others teams have endured for so many years. All your success, all your Superbowl wins, and here you are feeling sorry for yourselves. You seem to think winning is your birthright, and that everyone but you should have have to feel the sting of losing. Most of the country is rejoicing over the defeat of your precious Patriots on Sunday. You have no empathy for anyone. Grow up.

It's called being a fan of a team. Why are we, as Patriots fans, supposed to feel empathy for Titans fans?

I think you take all of this too seriously. We're fans. Of the Patriots. And you have lost your way.

I haven't felt this depressed and deflated in a really long time. When Brady got sacked on 2nd down of the last series, I just started to tear up. I am 37 years old, a grown F'n man with a wife and kid and I started crying. I am so devastated. I know we will be back, I know that our PATS are still the greatest team of all time, but I will never get over this loss, ever. I don't think any of us will. GOD BLESS the PATRIOT NATION. Hang in there guys.

This is just a time of mourning for us, you sanctimonious piece of band wagon riding sludge. I would love to be standing nose to nose with you in a sports bar right now. I guarantee you wouldn't be so brasen. If you doubt it let me know! 6'4" and 262lbs of PATRIOT Loving Smack Down ready to make you eat your words. This is the wrong time to be throwing stones. Show some respect to real fans. The simple fact that you wouldn't get your "own" team's back in this same situation, tells us all what a POSER you are. SHOVE OFF you TROLL!

I was hoping to wake up Monday morning and find out it was really still Sunday morning. Alas, Groundhog Day was actually Saturday. :(

Take away my pain. I can't stand this.

I'll learn never to take a team for granted ever again. Even with 18-0, "destiny" , and "they won't let it evade them! Its BB and Brady and 19-0!." I honestly did not even consider us losing, it just seemed "impossible".

My thoughts exactly. Leading up to the game Sunday I wasn't nervous at all, unlike the nervous wreck I was for other Super Bowls, because I knew the Pats were "destined" to reach NFL immortality. The cumulative wounds from Spygate and last year's AFC title game would be healed, but now there are deeper wounds. The Pats have taught me not to take ANYTHING for granted the past 3 years, like an 18-point lead or managing to NOT turn the ball over 5 times in a playoff game.

I kept dreaming Sunday night that the Pats won it in the end. That they did what they needed to do on that final drive. The play-calling on that drive (and in other areas)...I just don't question the coaching often w/this team but man, what a night to blow it. Ugh!! The shock and denial is slowly going away. I'm sad....I feel your pain, Patriot Nation. Can't wait to see what comes of free agency and the draft. It should be interesting. I wish I followed baseball the way some of my friends do; that would be a good distraction too.

A very sensible (and accurate) response to my little tirade.
