Because than the transformation will be complete.....

We will be the F'n Yankees.

We lost one game this year. One game. That is 3 less than any other team. I think we would all be a bit happier if the one, was during the first 16 week instead of the sb. But it could have been worse. The one game could have been against Jax.

We don't have some right to 4 SBs in 7 years. We don't have some right to a perfect season.

The only fan base with this sense of entitlement is the damm Yankees.

Based on the posts here the only two players that deserve to comeback next year are Tom Brady and Wes Welker.

Fire Josh, cut Harrison, Moss is no good in the post season, where was Wilfork, the LB are too slow.

These guys won 18 f'n games. There pretty good in my book.

But lets Fire BB, because just like Torre its been a couple of years since he won us the big one.

Then we can be the F'n Yankees.

Re: Why Kraft should fire BB....

Sarcasm folks.

Re: Why Kraft should fire BB....

First Mr. Kraft need to wear those goofy turtlenecks with a blazer. THEN we can be like the Yankees.:D

Re: Why Kraft should fire BB....

Man someone made a post earlier that really made me wish I could reach through the computer screen. They said that in a way, if the Rams BS allegations are proven true and Kraft were to fire BB, that they wouldn't panic because of the Kraft's being good organizational leaders and that they'd find someone else...........

WTF is wrong with you? BB coached this team to 18-0, and sure, he did F up the coaching in the SB, but come on?

And how do you get on the players? Moss was great during the playoffs. He would have had a huge game, as he promised, had Brady had time to throw him the ball. It was because of Moss that the offense was able to open up the middle of the field against SD and JAX. Just because he doesn't catch a ball doesn't mean he didn't have a huge impact on the game.

Any coach in any sport has to believe they can get a championship and that they deserve it every year. Otherwise they wouldn't be a very good coach.

WTF are you talking about.

Yeah, I saw that. It must just be the shock. If in a week they still feel that way, then they have a serious problem.

He forgot to add a [/sarcasm], I believe.

Come on, people.

Re: Why Kraft should fire BB....

It's amazing the number of people that can't recognize good sarcasm when it's staring them in the face.

Firing BB won't fix things. Kraft needs to sell the team.

First off my post is sarcasm. I absolutely don't want Kraft to fire BB. Nor do I want to cut Moss, our entire defense and o-line. But if we cut everybody who there is a thread demanding be fired all we would have left is Wes and Tom. My point is Patriot fans have become as big of a-holes as Yankee fans. The Patriots had a great season. Lets not ruin that by pretending our team sucks and everyone needs to be fired.

Re: Why Kraft should fire BB....

The comparison is false.

The Yankees (and the Red Sox) buy championships. Under the salary cap the Patriots earn them by outsmarting the rest of the league.

If the fans are spoiled it is only because we have bought into the Patriots philosophy, anything less than a SB championship is a failure. Don't blame us for buying the company line, we learned it from the best.

Team
One game at a time
Championships
Humble Pie
Value
Sacrifice

These are all ideas that the Patriots have sold us on and we all quote them all the time.

You are so right. And move it too. I heard LA is looking for team...

I wasn't really comparing the teams as much as I was comparing the fans.

Re: Why Kraft should fire BB....

I wasn't really comparing the teams as much as I was comparing the fans.

Well you can't compare the fans either because they are products of their team.

The current Yankees fans believe their team should win every year because they have the most money and can buy a championship. They believe this makes them superior.

Pats fans believe we should win every year because the Patriots are the best run organization which has their priorities in order (team instead of the individual).

The Patriots have set high standards and as fans we have adopted these standards.

Now there are some bandwagoners who are only here for the good times. To be honest I was more proud of the Pats stickers on my truck and wearing my Pats jacket today because days like this are what separate the fair weather fans from the true fans.

I have a Red Sox, a Pats and a USF (alma mater) sticker on my truck. I remember telling my wife last fall that people were going to think I was a front runner because the Sox were winning a World Series, the Pats were undefeated and USF was #2 in the country. Well at least I don't have to worry about that now. We have some more legroom on the bandwagon.

I know what you are saying but just remember the bandwagoners are most likely gone right now. The people who are reading your words are the true fans, the ones who are crushed and who are looking to each other for support.

Your words have some truth to them, the problem is the people who need to read them are at the mall right now buying Giants t shirts.

Re: Why Kraft should fire BB....

First of all, wait at least a day when being this pissed. Secondly, other than Moss, we have made all of our stars what they are today. The yankees steal everyone else's talent while we have created our own. If you want an actual comparison to the yankees. Look at the redskins who are 20 million over the expanded salary cap and are known as the retirement home for old players because of the long-term deals they give washed up players.

Re: Why Kraft should fire BB....

I think I'd rather have lost to Jax than lost this Super Bowl this way after this season. Less disappointment, same result (no title).

I seriously doubt that Kraft would want to seriously phuq his own team up... I cannot see this happening... EVER.

Belichick IS the best coach in the NFL, possibly ever.

I don't care what anyone else thinks.

Shannahan got caught twice for messing around the salary cap, and he doesn't get canned.

Plus, he is way lower on the totem pole for coaches.
