He signed a 2-year deal, as did Gorin a few years ago. Both years included LTBE's. The 2007 money will be buried in the calculation of the adjustment to the 2008 cap. The 2008 money will go away when Eckel signs a restructured contract.

I looks like we have some work to do.
The cutting of Stallworth is roughly offset by the cap hit of the #7 pick.
Stallworth's 2008 cap hit $6.53 million versus Adrian Peterson's 2007 cap hit of $2,040,000 is not "roughly offset", IMO.
I was going off average cap hit over the course of the contract as listed in this thread here.
The problem with those numbers is that they presume that Peterson would reach each and every escalator in his contract.
