Like most fans iam dissappointed. I lived week in week out with the pats. Friends told me get a life. The best part of the football season was the weeks leading up to the games and the +ve postmortems week after on this board and other media sources. At this point iam limited to just checking this board since i feel at home. i moved out boston last week so being out of the local land makes it even more tougher. No sports channels or newspapers or sports sites since last night.
I simply don't know what to do .I really dont want to vent on ifs and buts of the game or call anybody out because the team gave me much joy throughout the season .Just nothing to look forward to right now which gives an empty feeling. Last i felt such was after the aaron boone walk off.

Shockingly well. I am disappointed, of course, that our one chance for a 19-0 season is gone. But I'm actually in a good mood, energetic and having a pretty good day. Not sure why given the number of people who keep bringing up the damn game at work. Jeez, when their dog dies I'll have to remember to point it out to them. But WAY, WAY, WAY better for me than the playoff loss last year. No sports stuff, though, this is the only place I'm reading/watching related to sports for a while.

I decided during the Pats last possession I wasn't going to let it effect me personally. I stated in a post last night, it's something that happened to a team I'm a fan of and has no direct impact on my life. It was a fun season and I'm moving on and looking forward to August when the Pats take the field again. :rocker:

I was planning on staying away from here and PP for a few weeks so I could just get away from football but that has been the hardest thing ever. Like you I lived football week in and out. I honestly dont know what to do til next season, but other than patriot's sites im avoiding all football talks. I do feel a bit better coming on here bc being outside of the NE area not many ppl truly can relate to how I feel. However there is more to be said from this dynasty, so until then I shall hold my tongue. For now, I've decided to skip classes and possibly go shopping...that usually makes me feel better.

by looking forward to the off season, then next season, and focusing on my other loves, brasil and manchester united

Healthy outlook. It's entertainment pure and simple. Hurt's that they lost but it's doesnt really effect any part of my life unless I let it.

i get how your feeling. i'm only doing a little better. but the cloud seems to lift a little with each passing hour. whatever you do, don't watch the news tonight or read a sports page for another couple of days. i tossed all of our papers unread. i live in manhattan and couldn't bear even to look at them.

I need a HUG:(

anyone know when they are coming home?

Like some others, I was determined to stay away for a couple of weeks. I am seriously bummed out and disappointed. I was sure that the Pats would roll on.

My biggest issues were play calling, refs, and performance in that order. Giants have a very good D, but our line was terrible. Big non-calls by the refs.

Think I'll go have a drink!!!

I was listening to EEI for about an hour today and even those guys are still in shock and disbelief

Gutted, simple as that really. Eventualy you get over such things but for today I'm a tad depressed. Thats one was a tough one to take for reasons I dont have to explain.

figurative, manly-man, hug given.

no, i don't know when they're returning.

thanks for the hug, (I'm a chick, by the way;) ) Gud man hug

I just heard on WBZ they are landing @ Logan @ 7pm
there is about 76 to 100 people lined up at the gate in Gillette to welcome them home, Wish I drove down there today. Might have been good theropy

i was shocked and i cried a lot. i cheered up at the end of school but since i live near san diego, all my friends laughed and did nothing more. i expected my friend, who is a buckeyes fan and knows what it feels like to lose the big game to comfort me, but turns out he's a prick.

im not half as mad as i was right after the game but im just mad that we have to wait so long for next season to start..i hope this game didnt kill the teams confidence & they come out just as strong as they did this season. i still think the patriots are the team to beat even they though they lost yesterday..GO PATS!!

1) Skipped classes.
2) Used this outlet to express myself with other die-hards.
3) Tried to think about the upcoming season.

Frankly, I'm sublimating: every time I get the itch to check ESPN.com, or PFT, or any of those other sites, I step away from the computer, and do something else. It's quite liberating.

Needless to say, I'm giving sports talk a rest for a couple of weeks: I've got dozens of CDs in my car, so I should be OK.

Yo...did you ever go over to the Fox Sports Grill in the Spectrum Center to watch any of the games this year with the OC Patriots Fan Club? Upstairs loft.

Sums up my day in a nutshell.
