i cant watch it...all i hear is giants and pats blowing it...i am not watching it for a week and hopefully something new will be on instead of superbowl coverage

I walked away from the TV as Brady's pass fell incomplete and have not looked back at the TV for another second. I have no idea what it looked like to see any of the Giants raise the Lombardi trophy and I like it that way. I won't watch sportscenter for at least a week. I'm even questioning if I watch the pro bowl at this point.

No sports channel until further notice. I don't have the stomach to even read sports news sites. Pretty much this board and Reiss blog are the only two sites I visit, and planned to visit for a long time.

Gee, I feel like someone stole my soul!!! Dead Man Walking!!!

Probably not. But I've been listening to Sirius NFLN and a little ESPN radio in small doses, sort of like a vaccine.

Not a chance, at least for the next month or so. I'm going to try and get caught up on movies I haven't seen, and will be doing some shopping on I-Tunes to fill the time when I'm in the car. Which is tough because ESPN or NFLNetwork is always on in the background at night when I'm doing things.

It was bad enough when I had to take some time away this morning while the database was being repaired and went to breakfast with my wife (I'm off today) and had to deal with a waitress wearing a Giants T-shirt. Made leaving a tip a tough decision

Absolutely not. I too turned off the TV after the last pass fell incomplete. I knew they gave the Giants too much time and while the Giants got every break on that drive it kind of sunk in that we were actually gonna lose. Since then, no ESPN, no websites other than this, no NFL network, no radio...nothing. And, I will avoid it all for at least two weeks.

A week? A week! Try not for the next 6 months....maybe ever.

I'm off until further notice. I will return to NFLN for the combine.

I, too will not be watching ESPN until further noticed.

I'm in a weird place. Part of me wants to not watch it for a month, the other part of me made myself read all of the articles on the front page this morning to try to get used to it and get over it. It'll be years before we hear the end of this.

haven't watch espn in 15 years.
I'm not quite that drastic, but, yeah, I rarely watch now. I'll watch Baseball Tonight when baseball gets started. Probably not until then - no reason to watch for me. What will I do ? No clue :(

SB win or not, it is draft preparation time for me. Yeah, quite crazy about the draft.

I haven't watched a bit. I went into both DVR's and erased all of media day and the Superbowl. I couldn't bring myself to erase the games. Maybe someday I will look back and want to watch the incredible Brady to Moss connection again..

Matter of fact I don't know for certain who won the MVP of this Superbowl. I'm assuming they gave it to Manning? I so thought Welker was going to get it until the coaching faltered for the first time in recent memory. Just a utter collapse, playcalling on first and goal,Asantes drop, luckiest best catch in the Superbowl. Did I mention the coaching and playcalling? We were so ineffective at blitzing towards the end of the season. Why start now? ******* hilarious. They get a free pass because they've been so good to us over the years. Hopefully it will continue.

Pathetic choke job of Buckner/Schiraldi/Stanley proportions. Who would watch sportcenter to watch, read, listen unless you were a Giant fan?

I'm not watching Sports Cener until draft day in April.

I stay away from sports radio and sports news TV when the Red Sox and Pats get kicked out of the postseason/playoffs until the media stops talking about that sport's final game-- usually a few weeks.

the only shows i will watch on espn from now on are around the horn and pti .they are good for a laugh and not to be taken seriously .but wont be tunning into them for two weeks .the rest of espn is now and forever dead to me .

GO SOX!!

I hate this. :(

i'll check back in with the sports tv, internet and print outlets at around the draft. maybe follow the combine a bit. otherwise, i'm not tuning in.

i'll avoid the national and local news hours tonight and tomorrow night as well. things should be normal there by thursday.

Same here.

Right now I'll be following the Celtics and looking forward to the Sox's opening day, thankfully it isn't that far away. :snob:
