The Book That Will Never Be Read..........

I think you'll find no one on this board wrote that book, and none of us thought it was a foregone conclusion it would be printed.

Since some of us have actual intelligence, we realized that things like this are done in advance, on both sides, every single year.

If you don't understand that, you didn't think about it very hard.

Of course I understand but that does not change the fact of it. As it is, I give your team great credit for not making any excuses and accepting the fact that the better team won.

And for the most part, that surprisingly goes for Pats Fans as well.

It doesn't change the fact of it, but it certainly speaks to the relevance of you bringing it up on the day after the Super Bowl. Kids in 3rd world countries all over the world will soon be wearing Patriots 19-0 gear and championship gear, and I think that will honestly be a better use for it than to be purchased by some Pats fan who already owns 15 Pats t-shirts.

As to your second point, I think if you took the time to look past the idiot Pats fans (A segment of the population I think we can both agree ALL fanbases have in common) that the majority of us aren't nearly as bad as some people have come to think.

I think you guys mis-read foster here. I've run into him plenty of times when it's a Chargers week. This little jab looked like it's meant to be taken in good humor. We need to accept that people will be jabbing, but there's a difference between a little poke and a vendetta.

I say "screw everybody else" when it comes to the "give me my ring I never got" nonsense. But football's football, and guys like this who've been visitors for some time are bound to come by and take a shot.

Don't be babies. He pretty quickly identified that we're a little touchy at the moment and didn't try to rub it in.

Just my read,

ah but you're mistaken, 19-0 patriots is the book that will never be read this year

PFnV,

Correct and as it is, one of the very few jabs I have been able to throw Pats Fans way or against your great team. We Bolts Fans have certainly taken many.

And despite the disparity in jabs, I have always enjoyed visiting your board and exchanging them in good taste with Pats Fans.

Now the only thing Bolts Fans and Pats Fans both can do is look upon the past season with regret before soon looking forward to our next encounter(s) next season.

Sincerely and Always in Serious Fun!

Caryl

Hello Pats Fans.

I orignally signed up on your board to gloat and "get back" at some of the Pats fans that came to my teams forum and gave me and my fellow fans a hard time when our stupid Safety "gaurenteed" a win only to bite on play action twice and find himself on the bench. Stupid Anthony Smith.

But I've decided, that you're in enough pain. I do however want to reserve the right to keep my name on this board and ensure that the Pats fans, who want to gloat next season when they start 6-0 (cause they will, because they are still a pretty good team) remember humility.

I feel your deep pain and understand your subsequent need to needlessly lash out.

Even I a diehard PAtriots fan have respect for a player like Plaxico, BRady, etc who were hurt and played hurt. LT , on the other hand, is an embarassment to himself and his team and his QB as he let a little booboo on his knee make him curl up in the fetal position and sit on the bench with his Darth VAder helmet on while his QB played with a far more serious injury. That was truly pathetic. What a ****.

In fairness to LT, his role on the team doesn't allow for that type of injury. A Running back has a ton more strain on his legs than a QB. But I do agree in the over all assessment of the Chargers. They need to prove themselves praiseworthy before they recieve any. And other than losing 1 superbowl, they haven't done a thing in this league really.

Yeah I can vouch for him also, he is on our board on Indystar and is NOT a troll. We need more posters like him. As for the game lastnight I am not going to comment at this point in time out of respect.

honestly, a million of those types of books have come out since 2001 between the Pats and the Sox, I have them all in my bathroom and only peruse them when I'm taking a dump.

I'd probably read this one once and proceed with my life.

There is a Steelers Video / Superbowl song "out there" from 1994...too bad we lost to the CHARGERS in the AFC Title game...

ugh...that still burns my craw...

A nice attempt at diversion. The fact is that your and my TV did not show LT when he was off the bench talking with and encouraging his offensive teammates when they were on the sidelines. We only saw and were given the false perception that he stayed solely on the bench when our offense was on the field. In reference to LT not playing after understanding that he could not, he as well as the team likely also realized that if he did play, Rivers would be one missed LT block from being even more seriously injured than he already was.

But be that as it may, that's last week's wannabe story and I believe it is safe to say it pales in comparison to this week's imperfect story no matter how much you would like it to be otherwise.
