Giants 'very angry' pats have trademarked '19-0'

In what bizarro universe could the Giants ever be 18-0? This is a once in a lifetime event and the Pats have every right to do what they did. This board is filling up with chicken littles.

Not at all, don't take my comment in that way. I agree, they're doing what they have to from a business aspect and I completely agree with what they're doing. That said, reverse the roles and people on this board would be screaming about how the Giants were treating this as an inevitability...simple as that, and it's nothing revolutionary, just understand that laughing at the Giants for being pissed is hypocritical.

Funny thing is that it turns out some Denver Broncos schmuck beat the Patriots to the punch by about 10 years.

They can be angry if they want to be, more power to them. I'm angry that the world is trying to taint our Championships and I'll bet MONEY that the Patriots feel the same. The trademark pales in comparison to the assault on the teams Championships. So we'll see two ANGRY teams on the field tonight.
Fine, that works for me.

Good.......

They're a slightly out of conrol team to begin with.

I'll be OK with a bunch of stupid penalties and over-aggressiveness leading to blown coverage.

Pierce - Big Mouth
Burress - Big Mouth
Jacobs - Overrated big mouth

It'll be ugly.

They can be very angry all they want. If they think they're angry now, just wait until the Pats curbstomp them in the SB.

Whatever helps them prepare. The Patriot's players themselves have nothing to do with the trademark and I doubt any of them will see any royalties from it. Kudos to the Pats business people for trademarking before someone else. Besides, they'll always own the trademark rights from this point on.

LMAO.... I just heard on NFLN.... they reported that someone else outside the NFL trademarked 19-0 and The Perfect Season for $400.00 3 months ago...

If the patriots win, then this guy will be rich!!!!

Business is Business.

The Giants are just jealous because 13-7 is already taken.
