ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reports that, if it turns out that former Patriots employee Matt Walsh has in possession video of the Rams' final walk-through practice from Super Bowl XXXVI, New England head coach Bill Belichick will be suspended.

For a year.

Paolantonio, come on. Goodell already stated that its a FALSE rumor that surface about 6 months ago. Get with the program and stop being a fool.

Keep yapping Sal...Bob Kraft should get his lawyers together and sue that entire network. Why sit back and keep taking hits left and right. LET'S FIGHT BACK.

This is fast becomming worse than the Parcells and the Drug scandel of 86.. Its time to move on...

If Matt Walsh actually had the video, I am sure that it would have come out already. He could have sold that thing for a big cash and kept his name out of it all together.

Of course, that could change if a tape is produced but there's still no evidence of that - just a guy with no credibility suggesting, but no saying, he has one.

When the game is 45-0 at half that will be our awnser..

While I'm certainly sick of the whole thing, there certainly is the possiblity that the tape exists. And if it does, it's going to be extremely damaging to the entire franchise.

And Randy Moss will not make the team...

Anyone remember where Sal Paolantonio is from? THAT'S RIGHT...Mr. Specter's backyard. Philadelphia. Holding a grudge too Sal?

True, but that is a big IF. Until a tape surfaces, we shouldn't be worried about it. How often has the media blown things way out of proportion?

no it's not. first of all, if walsh has a tape of the walkthrough why would belichick be suspended. he doesn't have the tape. secondly, it's history. what are they going to do , take their rings back ? no !!

Were Walsh to produce a videotape, does that mean he was "acting under orders" (didn't work at Nuremburg) or perhaps (given his narcissism) was trying to make a name for himself?

If he had a tape, it would have surfaced long ago and we'd have had the pleasure of his mug on every sports show for the last three months.

The true conspiracy buff (or any Giants' fan) will maintain that this entire episode was created by the Master of Deception (AKA Belichick) to inspire the fellas to produce another "F-U" performance (see SD @ NE, week 2). Speaking for myself I would like nothing better, close games are not good for the old ticker.

Exactly. Even if, and that's a big if, walsh has the tape that doesn't mean the pats of BB ever saw it.

Also, where is he getting the 1 year suspension from? The NFL who already said there wasn't anything to this? OR is he making it up?
What a F*ck Tard

Paolantonio has it wrong. If Belichick was caught videotaping another team AFTER the Jets game, it'd count as a second infraction, which would lead to the suspension. The supposed Rams tape, if it even exists, would be part of the first infraction.

Also there is a possibility that the tape was obtained afterwards somehow. how could we know that if the tape surfaces, that it ia walshes work to begin with? for all twe know he "could" have a tape of the walkthrough, but was it his, and did he get it afterwards somehow. From the reaction of the team and Coach this thing Stinks.

Why would we come out and deny this rumor if the possibility that a tape was out there existed? Then we're liars and cheaters. No point. One thing we haven't done is issue a false denial, until we do, I'm going to assume that no tape exists.

Three words for Sal...

Not to mention the possibility that if such a tape did exist who is to say it wasn't taped by someone on the Rams staff. A lot of this could be surfacing as a result of guys being told an excuse based fairy tale over the years to explain why their Dynasty died before it was actually really born. Because the truth was a little too painful to man up to.

Actually the commish said when he imposed the penalties that he reserved the right to up the penalty if it turned out that the Patriots were not truthful and if more taped evidence existed. So yeah, ti would be damaging if it existed and IF he could prove that he was not acting independently.
