If Matt Walsh has no evidence then that will blow over quickly but who knows what would come out of a senate hearing.

I have a feeling the Comcast/Specter connection will gain steam and never even make it to a hearing.:bricks:

What do you think?

I find it unlikely there will be a smoking gun to make this permanent. One thing's for sure, though, nothing will scar 19-0 which is why we must attain that.

NFL films won't delve in too deep in their documentaries.
that'll diminish the blemish through time

I find the title to your thread offensive. "Permanently scar the dynasty" is too inflammatory for my taste. The answer is no, it won't, so quit it.

It will, because some people have made it their mission not to let this be forgotten.

Why do you care whether the Pats cheated anyway? We won the games, and they didn't. Be happy to be a winner. Don't worry about losers. Losers are losers because they couldn't get it done. You can't scar winning 4 Super Bowls. Winning is the only thing.

I wouldn't say it will scar the dynasty, but it will definitely scar the legacy.

Arlen Spector was a legal giant. An absolute force in Congress. Even though I'm a D, I recognize his important work for years.

Now, with a personal bitter, ill-informed injection into a place he doesn't belong, he has trashed that.

So, yes. It has.

You were talking about Spector, right?

At first I thought that people will remember this and hold onto it whether the Pats were ever at fault or not, but you make a good point, and I'm revising my opinion a little.

Official NFL shows will downplay this in a major way, and that will certainly affect how people remember this team 10 or 20 years from now. It will gradually fade over time, but in the short term it will be at the front of many people's minds.

This will scar the Dynasty for those who want it to do so.

The Opportunists will have something to point to forever.

Intelligent beings will see this for the pimple on the ass of humanity that it is.

Yes, just like the Dolphins and Don Shula tampering and being forced to give up a 1st round draft pick keeps people from talking about the Dolphins' accomplishments in the 70s...

It will, because some people have made it their mission not to let this be forgotten.

Instead of acknowledging those loonies, why don't you quit echoing their sentiments and fight them aggressively? Public memory can be molded by public opinion, and public opinion can be changed by motivated individuals.

Not for me it won't.

As someone else pointed out, there are many in the media who seem to be making this their personal mission that this never be forgotten.

Look at it this way: When Spygate first broke, EVERYONE was talking about it, and then as the season went along it was just the yahoos who were harping on it. Now that there or more "revelations", EVERYONE is talking about it again. If the new developments come to nothing (which I sure hope they do), then it will be just the yahoos again. Those are the Easterbrooks of the world who will never let it go, ever.

You can't scar winning 4 Super Bowls.

The Pats only won 3 SB's They're 3-3 overall.

Dynasties don't lose superbowls. So not only does it tarnish this years achievements, but it completely takes the "Dynasty" tag off of any thing that the Pats did before.

That's what you get for being the most disgusting group of arrogant shi*bags in the history of the NFL. Dynasties win with class, The Pats can't even spell class. It starts with B*itch Belichick and filtered all the way down to the clubhouse boy.

AAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

P.S. I used to really like Tom Brady until this BS....

The Pats will forever be known as the biggest chokers not only in NFL history, but the history of all sports.

Your dynasty has already considered "cheaters" by most of the public and because of the Super Bowl loss the Pats are no longer the best dynasty because they CHOKED, so the title still remains as 49ers best dynasty.
Montana in Super Bowl
4-0

Scar the Dynasty? Nope. It will only make it stronger. It will be the mantra for Patriots' march to the Super Bowl in 2008/2009.

Never doubt the Patriots ability to bounce back from adversity.

Choking away the chance of football immortality will scar the dynasty greater than SpyGate!

Hey Pats fans......How does that Karma taste?

Is is absolutely poetic justice.

All I can do is laugh and point.

"Losers are losers because they couldn't get it done." Oh, now that's just too much! And I'm still trying to find that 4th SB win of yours. This poetic justice for all your arrogance is just priceless. :D

What I find priceless is reading the posts by all of you trolls, nothing better to do with your pathetic excuses of a life than come here and act classless.

What you *******s are doing is the same as walking into a funeral parlor and looking at a dead body and laughing, you are all a bunch of gutless, classless douchebags.

Your parents must be so proud.

Misery loves company and all of you are such pathetic losers; if doing what you're doing makes you feel better, I feel sorry for you; pity is a better word, because what you're doing is pitiful.
