I'm starting to like Goodell despite the harsh penalty he imposed on the Patriots earlier in the season. He's not a coddler and is attempting to improve the game, even if I think taking away a 1st round pick was ridiculous (and only done because the Patriots are so good, no chance the Fins lose anything more than a 5th rounder in similar circumstances).

Look, I think you will see Goddell sticking up for NE...i am pretty sure him and the Kraft's are good friends, and he will articulate what was not there.
He has our back and i think we should not worry...he will tell the truth.

I welcome Spector to do all the investigating and questioning publicly that he can.
We have seen the alternative and all this half-assed reporting just isn't helping things,its making it worse.
That said,there is a very important football game to be played today...I'm turning off my TV and radio until 5PM today and I'm gonna enjoy the hell out of this football game. GO PATS!

Keep in mind that Goodell and his former employers made this into the Federal case by creating the story and not just escorting the cameraman of the premises like the Pats did the previous year. Goodell wanted to show his power by taking on the Pats and punishing them in an extraordinary manner thereby elevating the crime from the mere rules violation which it is. What Goodell didn't realize is that the whole league is full of those cheating violations and if a through investigation was conducted and people like Belichick who know where there bodies were buried spilled the League would be in trouble. Since then Goodell has quashed any other investigation and is working with the Pats to get the whole thing over with to protect other teams not to benefit the Pats.
Specter was proven to be a fraud, the media (Mike and Mike) are turning against him saying enough is enough time to move on, and the current situation will fire up the Pats to go medieval on the Giants tonight.
I'm all of a sudden feeling much better than an hour ago. BRING IT ON !!!!!
