The Pats should win the game, do the player and coach handshakes, and then just walk off the field. They can celebrate in the locker room AFTER kicking out all the media people. No post game interviews, no trophy presentation, no acceptance of the MVP award. Screw everyone.

If we win the game and they do that, that would be awesome. I would just love that, but it ain't gonna happen.

Blackglass, let me tell you what's not going to happen...the Giants are not going to win.

Fixed that for ya.

And a guy can dream, can't he? :p

I love that Idea.............Just shove it to the League. BB can tell the Comish that Specter is going to accept the Trophy for the Pats (this way, Specter can at least see one close up)

stupid idea.... i look forward to what Goodell says to BB when he hands the trophy over and vice versa.

is it going to be awkward?

i had a dream about that last night that we won the superbowl and rodney threw the lombardi trophy across the field . belichick threw his sleveless hoodie over his head and walked off with his team amidst the confetti.

Our fight is not against the league. Let time heal the wounds. We should be classy and not swoop down to such low levels. As much as i'd like to see that, we should behave like gentlemen.

I think BB or Brady should grab the mic and the trophy (if they win) and yell (a la Gladiator) "Are you not entertained???!!!". That'd be pretty sweet...but again, that's not going to happen.

Like the 1st Bad News Bears when Tanner throws the trophy at the Yankees and tells them to shove the trophy up their *****? Cool movie ending but highly unlikely.

For the umpteenth time, Goodell isn't presenting this year. Several weeks ago he arranged for a black QB to present this season commemorating the 20th anniversary of his being the first to win a Superbowl (and as a hedge against having to hand the thing to BB).

We already got 3. I say we saw this mother in half and send one half to McPuke to placate Arlen and the other to Warner - maybe it will help them resurrect their careers.

Oh, and I think we should go old school and the team should carry our HC off the field on their shoulders.

I think we should graciously accept the trophy, and then put up the FU picture of Belichick with the fourth ring on the jumbo screen. :snob:

THAT would be awesome. Forget my stupid idea!

I do agree that they should kick all media out and just accept the trophy, thank the fans, and say nothing. No going to disney (espn=disney), no post game interviews, No Letterman appearance, no Sunday conversations. That would be awesome! Irresponsible journalism has cast them in this light today, don't make these peoples jobs easier! Make a stand! I'm sure Mr. Kraft would feel that they would be slighting the fans in doing this. We would understand! Plenty of time to talk to us at the Parade!

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
PATSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

If anyone has seen the film "Brassed Off", the trophy acceptance at the end of that film is how I want this season to end.

I think that has zero chance of happening.. In a few years, all this Spygate etc. will seem so childish and be seen as desparate ways by a few small minded people who tried to denigrate a team's achievements out of pure jealousy.... However, the footage of the Pats celebrating on the field will be etched in the minds of everyone, forever... I would want that on my victory DVD copy, not a walk off, I can tell you that.

I would rather see them accept the trophy in front of their fans then just the people who had the money and ability to see them in AZ. It is great for them... but remember what Vrabel said the day of the rally....

There are so many fans that can not pay the prices... for the Superbowl or even tickets to home games.... Regardless if you are able to make the games, or watch them at home or other places... The fans are the ones that stood behind them and praised them for all their hard work....through all of this...

I just hope that the rumors do not destroy all the hard work that the 2007 Patriots did THIS year!

It would be nice for them to give the league a final "F-U," however...the status and symbol of this trophy is something far greater than the league itself.

It is the ultimate sports crowning achievement and it would do a great disrespect to the fans of football and the organization if they were to turn it away.

this is why they play the game

Agree with everything - but take the trophy.

The team earned it, in spite of everyone, every team, and everything that tried to prevent them from doing it.
