Do the Pats just go straight to hurry up and no huddle?

I think they do to shell shock the Giants. Speed up the game and take advantage of the butterflies of the Giants and probably go deep early. Before they know it they are down 14-0.

If you watch week 17 the two halves are totally opposite. The major factor being blitzing Eli second half and giving him free reign in first half. Also red zone offense for Pats sputtered in the first half.

If the Giants go down 14 pts I think they are in a bit of trouble. Game not totally done, but put the game on Eli's shoulders and things are gonna start to crumble.

I can't see the Pats coming out in a 3TE set and running on their first drive. I think they get aggressive.

I expect them to. It's been their best offense over the course of the season and it's the toughest matchup for most defenses. Might as well start with it and see how the NYG plan to play it. If they play it well, move on to something else but it can be unstoppable at times. It will be interesting to see if they blitz or cover that offense.

ok...honestly....the pats are not going to go man on plax. they are gonna play gone and if they do go man there is going to be safety help over the top.

also week 17 the giants shifted plax opposite asante at times which baffled me why they didn't milk the left side of the defense.

if the giants try no huddle they'd be foolish since they are going to be so amped up for the first 5-10 minutes. they have how many players with SB experience? and one of them is the sheep biting dude.

The only issue with no huddle at this point is that it means you have to commit to either Faulk or Maroney for a drive. But that's fine, let Faulk own the first half, Maroney will own the second.

But I'd really try and go deep first play like the Cowboys game (granted they didn't connect). Come out 2TE, 2WR, play action and launch it to Moss. If you don't connect, carry-on with the offense as planned.

There is nothing I'd like to see more than the Pats start out in the no huddle where they quickly demoralize the Giants with one of those lightning quick surgical drives that ends up in the endzone before the defense knows what hit them.

There would be no better way to start the game than to bring a swift dose of reality to the Giants, while immediately removing all doubt as to who the better team is .....

The pressure on the Giants front 4 is immense. Let's face it, if Brady consistantly has time, in a dome, with a 100% healthy offense it's game over. That front 4 will start with furious intensity.

My guess is the Pats will go 4 wide/1 TE/no huddle with kyle brady the 6th blocker and wear the pass rushers down before taking their shots down field.

How is it intense? Didn't they have only one sack in week 17? If they come out furious they will fizzle for the second half. They won't be able to maintain that level of emotion. that is where the pats experience pays dividends as they know how to pace themselves.


I'm betting on one Giants cb or lb having the yips as previously stated.

I am sure there are good reasons for wanting the ball first in second half.
But if PATs can jump out to an early lead and force the Giants to a passing
game then who gets the ball in the second half won't matter.
I want PATs to jump out ot a 10 point lead as soon as possible and not look back.
