I have to go with "blowout"

I have considered both sides of this story. I do think the Giants have a very good team. I even posted here during week 10 or so indicating that they were my biggest fear about being able to capture 16 straight. Why? Pressure defense. To me it's the only way to ever beat Brady. Without that, you're done. Even with it you can be done. Without it, you are double done.

Well, I think we take that away from them tomorrow. They are double done. Tomorrow that pressure defense sees a lot of X-Factor to punish it for its aggressiveness. Maybe they'll see screens, maybe Receiver-Screens, maybe 2-3 step drops and Welker, maybe Maroney, maybe strange receiver sets, I don't know, but they're going to pay for their obvious signature moves. Expect the unexpected - the Pats will roll out something devastating that hits the Giants right where they ain't. If the Giants get behind it will force them to cough up the ball a couple of times, and that will be the difference.

The Giants are on the peak of their season, but the Pats are on the peak of a multi-year roll. The Giants have a much-improved QB, and the Pats have a QB for the ages. The Giants have a very good head coach, but the Pats have perhaps the greatest football mind in the universe. The Giants have very good receivers but the Pats have more unused talent at receiver than most teams have up front. The Giants can run the ball better than the Pats, but what good will that be if they are behind? The Giants have Bradshaw back in action, but the Pats have Neal, Kaczur and the other Brady back.

I'm almost wondering how the hell the Giants even got there. They hung with the Pats in week 17 but everybody knows that they had a huge advantage in intensity to find themselves, and the home field. Even then they couldn't stop the Pats offense. Even with subs on the OL they could not pressure Brady enough to knock him off his game.

TD pass number 50 and catch number 23 says it all. In the end I think we'll have to say that the Jaguars and Chargers were better teams.

Apparently by being the best of the crappy NFC.

Nothing like adding a little "us against the world, again" motivation for the Pats, to a team that was already about as motivated as you can get.

tale of the tape is if you pressure Eli his accuracy goes down. He aint the same guy when he is only pressured with a 3-4 man rush.

Guys like Vrabel, Green, Warren, AD, Seau, Seymour, Wilfork, Rodney, Bruschi will be big in getting pressure on Eli.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a Hobbs cb blitz to catch Ei off guard.

if the front 3 consistently tie up two blockers a piece it is going to be a long day for the G-Men

I can see the Giants moving the ball well enough to score 2 touchdowns and 3 field goals.... But I can't see their defense stopping the Pats offense now that they have no reason whatsoever to hold anything back.

This game might stay closer in the first half,... but will eventually become a Pats blowout

I just hope the officials are going to be fair about this game. I have seen way too many bad calls this season. I am happy it is Mike Careys crew that is officiating, but being it is a NY team makes me a little nervous.
