Does anyone expect an outburst about "spygate" after the SB?

I've been thinking this for quite some time. I can really see many veteran members on the team saying something very candidly if they win the Super Bowl. Obviously they've been tight-lipped about it all season but I think they might really let loose with emotions and everything they've wanted to say after this game. Anyone think this might happen, or will it just be the usual celebratory stuff?

Belichick wouldn't tolerate his team members editorializing about much of anything.

Their emotions will cause them to crush the Giants tomorrow. That's all they, we, Kraft, and Belichick are focused on. The next focus will be the draft, the free agents, shoring up come contracts, and preparing for the next game in the fall.

once the superbowl is over, the vast majority will not care a lick about football and will enter hibernation until the fall. Anyone who wants to get their two cents in has an ever closing window to do so. It's only people like us who haunt the football websites and messageboards.

I agree. The players won't give the media the satisfaction. They'll let it die on it's own merit.

I really think Bruschi or someone will say something. I think the cameras will go to him while they're celebrating and he'll say something about the media or something. Maybe I'm wrong, i just have a feeling some people will. Bruschi was the only one who admitted that the week 2 game was more important than a regular game because of it.

Very true. Also, it doesn't matter what anyone says, because people will believe what they want to believe. At a certain point, it is pointless to waste valuable time and energy on them.

Exactly right, and imagine how much that story would be amplified if the Colts were the team that were 18-0 and on the verge of 19-0. Talk about it might not match what's going on now with all of this, but it undoubtedly would be deafening.

I agree that they may "let it out" after Sunday's game. I doubt anyone will have anything negative or revealing to say about the team or spygate, but I think they will express what a load of crap this has been for them all season.

I hope so, but I kind of doubt it. More than the players, I'd like some idea of what Kraft meant when he said there were facts people didn't know that would change how they look at it. He's so brand-conscious that he wouldn't say something like that unless whatever it is we don't know is rock-solid in favor of the Pats.
