Apparently, Warner wants the league to do another thorough investigation of everything the Pats have done since the beginning of time. He didn't think there was anything suspicious about the Pats/Rams Super Bowl for five and a half years, but all the sudden thinks there is something fishy.

On the other hand, Bledsoe steps up big time and defends the Patriots. He say nothing happened in 2001 and that stealing signals is overblown and how he got an award in college for stealing signals.

****, Warner.

I have a lot of gratitude for Drew right now.

Re: Kurt Warner Cries while Bledsoe steps up

Has anyone been watching NFLN? Most likely they're avoiding the issue, but if not, I would love to see Faulk's reaction. Especially if the Pats win tomorrow!

Faulk is probably foaming at the mouth right now, wanting desperately to go off on the Patriots. But I don't think the NFL will be taking this seriously until there is some actual evidence.

I had always respected Warner through the years....now...he is dead to me...and I have Cardinal season tickets.....I hope Linehart beats his arse out this year and actually plays well enough to stay as starter....or else....guess I will rooting for the visitors...

Bah...Warner has gone from celebrity-QB to yet another also-ran. What a baby.

Re: Kurt Warner Cries while Bledsoe steps up

Warner does say in there that other players have told him that their teams steal signals too. So at least he's not taking the "well I never!" line that some others are.

Re: Kurt Warner Cries while Bledsoe steps up

Notice that Greg Easterbrook is a contributor in another related article by the same author? Not surprisingly, Mr. Easterbrook has a new article on the same subject on page 2 of espn.

I refrained from giving the link to avoid fans getting their BP up on reading his obsessive manical attack against the Pats. Don't bother tracking it please. Maybe do it after the SB.

I was cringing reading his quotes. Really, Kurt....Mike Martz was fired, and your career went into the sh ithole because the Patriots may have taped your WALKTHROUGH.

I'm honestly embarrassed for this dipsh it. Maybe someone should tell him God just obviously hates him.

Re: Kurt Warner Cries while Bledsoe steps up

OMG, I can't believe this crap is happening..
i really can't.

if this teams looses tomorrow I will never forgive the media and the looser players who are whining becuase this could effect the team.

i doubt it will, but i can't stand this crap anymore

Re: Kurt Warner Cries while Bledsoe steps up

Hey, aren't the Pats in the home teams locker room? They should leave Kurt a little present in his locker. I bet Mankins can brew up a good one after a little Mexican food.

This is really getting ridiculous.

You do realize that this really started with a story by the NY Times about Specter asking in December for the league to respond to why the tapes were destroyed. You gotta think the Times released this story right before the Super Bowl specifically to distract the Patriots for the Super Bowl.

I hope it blows up in their faces. I want the Pats to win like 53-0. It would be so beautiful that the Times wanted to give the Giants an advantage by releasing this story right before the Super Bowl and it actually ends up having the Giants be the biggest losers in Super Bowl history.

Re: Kurt Warner Cries while Bledsoe steps up

I sincerely hope that this is something that just us fans and the Pats FO are the only ones getting tormented about until the SB starts.

Wish the coaches and the players are able to tune out all this irritable distractions that mysteriously break out just before the eve of such a momentous game.

So basically he's upset they didn't interview Matt Asshat? Does he know the extent of Asshat's job with New England? Does he know the terms of Asshat's release? Does he know anything beyond what you or I know? I don't think so. This is just sour grapes from a guy who lost a game and is bitter after the fact. Someone ought to tell him the NFL investigated and deemed they were just rumors and that the tapes only went back to last year. But then he might have to put his tinfoil hat away, and I'm sure that's not what he wants right now.

Sort of off topic, but that article (and because Warner's *****ing like a menstruating dog) the issue: am I a terrible person because I take enjoyment from the fact that the Patriots basically ruined the Rams with their Super Bowl XXXVI win? Now that is scorched earth. :rocker:

Don't we play the Cardinals this upcoming season..? :D

Re: Kurt Warner Cries while Bledsoe steps up

Here's a nice story for you guys......

I remember the 2001 Super Bowl team intros.....

Warner was in the tunnel as they were about to introduce him and the camera was on him.

When he was announced, he looked at the camera and did this exxagerrated sign of the cross......it was so fake and comtrived I got a knot in my stomach watching him.

I looked at my wife and said God will not let the Pats lose tonite.

i know, but it still bothers me. I do think the pats will crush the giants now, not that I thought it was going to be close anyway

Re: Kurt Warner Cries while Bledsoe steps up

How awesome is this? The Super Bowl XXXVI NFL Films recap is on ESPN2 right now.

Let people come out and disrespect the pats. More motivation for next years perfect season. Keep pissing BB off.

Re: Kurt Warner Cries while Bledsoe steps up

I blame Tomase for this. If your going to allege a serious allegation, then you better have concrete proof beyond what one unidentified "source " told you. Especially when many believe that this source is Walsh who has questionable credibility. Tomase opened a can of worms. It shoddy journalism and now people are running with it like its fact. The only goal that Tomase had in writing this was for is own personal benefit in that he would receive national notoriety.
