Matt Walsh: This Guy Is a Scumbag...

"Matt Walsh had multiple issues as an employee of the Patriots. When he finally crossed the line, he was fired. The Patriots chose not to press legal charges at the time. I think they were overly generous, but I guess they wanted the kid to have a second chance. This guy was a real beauty....always looking for the spotlight. He used to brag that he was going to be "somebody famous" all of the time. I guess he finally figured out a way to get his 15 minutes."

I thought the guy sounded like he didn't really know anything, he was just saying "Give me fame and money and I'll tell you" like the 5 year old child who says "I HAVE A SECRET!" just to get attention.

theres more to this story -- hints of 'legal issues" and 'crossing the line" and the Patriots not "pressing charges" before they fired him - what did he do? Stealing? Sexual Harrassment? Folks, theres more to this loser that will come out....sit back and getcha popcorn on Matt Walsh....

ESPN is pulling the ole' "We report that somebody else is reporting such and such..."

But I tell ya this: It's Tomase that us folks are going to remember. I never had a strong opinion about him either way but if this story ends up being a load of crap, we will not forget.

LPF - SPF here - ESPN passed the foolish stage about 5 years ago. The Michael Ervin PimpAct routines, Tom Jackass Jackson, etc.

The smoke is starting to blow out from Walsh and things are starting to come out about his employment with the Pats. This guy looks like a real piece of work.

The NFL and Patriots would not come out with these statements if it were such...the Matt Walsh ****storm is underway and I hope everyone finds out what he did during his Pats tenure and a so called "Springfield incident"

Let me guess: another Patriot employee that Evil Bill was mean to.

There's a reason the kid went from the Patriots fresh off a Super Bowl (or prior to a Super Bowl) to NFL Europe, to being an assistant golf pro in Hawaii. Seems like his career spiraled downwards, not upwards.

No one knows. Someone of fannation indicated this Walsh guy is bad news and was involved in some incident in Springfield.

Oh, okay. Thanks. I hope a few of the decent people left in the media pull out all of this guy's history. There's a reason he was a fired and went from a SB winning team to NFL Europe and golf, and I want to know it.

So what you have is jealousy-fueled media rage-a-thon.

I can see the post game presser tomorrow when Michelle Felger asks her questions about an alleged incident no one can prove....coming from a fired employee of VERY QUESTIONABLE character....

Espn is really running with this story since yesterday(duh) they failed to include the commish's comments that the Pats gained no advantage at all and the the SB's wearn't tainted. After listenting to the allegations a few times more on espn radio about SB 36 I moved to Fox radio,I haven't heard them mention it yet. So I hope espn gets burned BAD on this one. But of course they'll just excuse they're wasy out or just drop the story and let it die without an appology.
