Let's recap media's assault on BB and Pats

1)BB announces he is Jets coach w/Parcells as consultant-Media lauds Jets obvious tampering and foolish charade as BB is greeted as hero, media giggles at anything remotely funny
2)Parcell's assumes hc job after Kraft is forced to deal -NY media acts like it's XMAS
3)BB quits NY job after one day to coach Pats- Media calls him Bellichiken etc.
4)BB takes Pats job media says he'll be awful, says he was bomb in cleveland and will be same in NE
5)Pats win SB 36 BB met with some praise and some incredulous reporters who claim it was luck
6)'03 Lawyer Milloy debacle Pats "hate their coach"
7)Pundints consistently pick the Colts as best team even though Pats are dominant
8)They start to grudgingly give respect but say he's horrible man
9)decide to pick on clothes -Mannerisms @ pressers
10)they get involved in marital relationship w/wife
11) report on kids marijuana arrest
12)Many rumors about BB and SP to giants never happens but all of a sudden
BB is more evil than ever (can you say jilted again NY)
13)BB doesn't like shaking hands w/coach that just beat him who happens to be the man that he mentored who stabbed him in the back
14)Self proclaimed Classy LT declares the Pats have no class and it comes from their coach
15)Spygate (witchhunt)
16)info of Jets taping last year Mangini says he had permission although the Pats deny this(Mangini's word is good enough)
17)Pats perfect season ending with as much mudslinging as they can possibly muster (if they can't win they'll at least ruin it for us)

And they wonder why BB doesn't love talking to them!

No, the Jets thought they were being cute, because Kraft was demanding a #1 to release Parcells from his option so they announced BB as HC w/Parcells in a consultig role to force Krafts hand. I remember NY radio and all of NY was so proud of there subterfuge!

Excellent points.

Bill is one of my favorite people in sports and I think might be the greatest coach in the history of football. Many people out there wouldn't agree with me, and I don't know him personally, but I have a hunch he's genuinely a good man who just happens to know thoroughly what his job is. I like the way he stays true to himself and his team through the courage of his convictions and keeps focus, regardless of what anyone says or is going on around him. I hope he wins the Super Bowl this year, next year, and every year he's with the Patriots.
