Talking with Woodson and Schectner, made a comment about "his good friend Ron Borges". Arghhhhhhhhh Glad for Andre - great player......

Andre ROCKS!!!!!!!:rocker: :rocker: :rocker:

I wish they would've asked him more questions about HIS playing career instead of questions about his HOF class and tommorow's game.

Gotta say while it's great for Tip and long overdue it nauseated me to see the blue lipped boxing scribe in the leather jacket sitting in the front row - the only Boston voter and he's not even regularly employed in the city any longer...

He righted McDonough's wrong, payback for his inherited voter for life status I guess. But there is something wrong with the HOF voting system too. Maybe when he has some free time Senator Spector could look into that seeing how important the integrity of all things NFL are to him.

20 years later and looking at Tippetts picture leads me to believe he could be a star in todays league also. Listed on his bio as 6-3 and 241 ... Belichick might have bulked him up to 250 and we would have our own version of LT. Tippett had alot of jobs to do and wasn't always rushing the QB like LT ... because if he had that job he would have been in the teens every year.

Ron-Ron has caused all of us some major grief over the years, but I can't get mad at him for being a HoF voter. It's one area, much like when he writes about boxing, where he's been exactly on point; Tip's lone voice in the dark for years and years. Ron Burgers kept fighting the good fight until, finally, his rationale seeped into the rest of the morons with a vote.

Seems strange to say Borges was the voice of reason, but in this circumstance he actually was. Anyway, I'm glad for Andre, and I really believe he should have been in the hall a long time ago.

Borges is actually a pretty nice guy. I've had two conversations with him in the past -- talked mostly about boxing. He's a very polite fellow, which can be somewhat of a shock considering the perception I had of him beforehand.

Ron Borges righted a major wrong today. He deserves our gratitude and I forgive him for his scumbag past.

congrats to Tippet, 100 sack career,.... wish he was still playing.

great to see him on NFLN - hats off
