Senator Calls for Investigation of Cheating

WASHINGTON -- With the annual Kindercare hopscotch tournament fast approaching, a senior Republican senator says he wants the Kindercare to explain why it did not fully investigate Billy B.’s go-fish cheating scandal
"I am very concerned about the underlying facts on the game, the reasons for the judgment on the limited penalties and, most of all, the if this may have tainted a hide and go seek game," said Sen. Arlen Specter, R-Pa., in a Thursday letter to Kindercare CEO Renee Goodell.

According to sources close to the matter in September Billy peeked at Suzie’s cards in a very competitive game of go-fish. The teacher at the time scolded Billy, and made him stand in timeout for 15 minutes.

Suzie is the granddaughter of Senator.

The Senator is quite concern that the punishment was not strong enough. Also as go-fish was game that the two played every day, the Senator is demanding an full investigation into the possibility Billy cheated in other games as well. According to the senator, “It not only calls into question every go-fish game ever played, it also calls into question other games, such as hide-and-go-seek games, where Billy seems to dominate over the other children” The Senator explained this is could only be possible if Billy was peeking while counting to 20.

Specter was asked if this was a good use of taxpayers money. He responded this was way more important than terrorism or the economy. “After all this is my granddaughter.”

Godell in written statement told the senator that she is willing to discuss the matter further but considers the issue resolved.

When asked about all this Billy stated, “I am just focusing on the hopscotch tournament. I am going against some great hopscotchers. Good in all phases in hopscotch. I am just going to try my best to get ready and win the hopscotch tournament.”

rofl........................... thats hilarious good one..................

Very well done. Kind of puts this in perspective.

You ought to clean it up (missing some "the"s, got one where it shouldn't be,) and send it to a spoof site. Pretty funny.

Thanks, I emailed it to one this morning....hopefully they have some good editors

Where are our two esteemed senators from MA? If Teddy's sober he could squash this like a bug crawling across the bar, or maybe take Arlen for a ride in his mother's Oldsmobile.

the next thing you know obama and hilary will be at it in the next debate arguing about spygate...................

Actually I am expecting Lahee (VT and chair of the committee) to do so in a couple of weeks in a terse 1 paragraph that reads something like this.

"The committee has reviewed the Senator Specter's request to hold hearings on the NFL's internal handling of alleged improper survaliance of defensive coordinators. The Committee already has a very tight schedule and the only way to accommodate this request would be to cancel debate on bill regrading domestic survaliance that many feel is necessary for coordinating our national defense. The committee feels national security is a greater priority."

Just got a form e-mail from Specter saying to write my own senator... so I did LOL.

I am sure it will end up not mattering, or even working against us. Think about it... a Senator from VA only knows that this is on voters' minds... and most voters hate the Pats.

How frustrating. Screw it. They hate us. We'll win. I'm Jewish, I should be used to this.
