more than likely deserved it

there's been rumblings there that winning has attracted the noob raider type fan who are there more for the drinking and fighting, than for the game

That is sad when it comes to this. I know people that have quit attending games because of having to deal with drunk obnoxious people.

They are our conference rivals. Raiders fans are known to be rowdy thugs. LA is FLOODED with leftover fans from the move and is only 1 to 1 1/2 hours away. They can't really make it up to Oakland, so the only live game they see all year is when SD beats them at Qualcomm and then they get all pissed and start fights. You guys got about a 4 hour buffer between Jets fans and yourself so you wouldn't have that problem like we do.

Funny, most of the people I've talked to that work security or anything for the games at the Q say that the raiders fans are more well behaved then the Charger fans are... Up in Oakland is a different story though.

You attend Chargers games? I can understand if we were playing you guys. So you attend SD vs OAK games? I have plenty of times and witnessed it first-hand. It just seems odd that you would have correspondence with Qualcomm security and ask them about their take on the level of rowdiness between SD and OAK fans.

No I attend only NE @ SD games. I take the word of people that I work with that have side jobs on the weekends... A guy I work with... who's a 9r's fan btw; stated several times this year in hallway discussions (about football and team fans) stated that Raiders fans in SD aren't always the problem... More often then not it's a or a couple of drunk SD fans that push and shove and start things off. He's also from the bay area, and so he's been to games up there as well, and states its completely different there.

Well of course the opposition is going to endure massive trash-talking, that I don't refute. It's the way the other fans take it is how the fights get started. If you are an OAK fan walking into a sea of blue jerseys you better have some really thick skin and be able to take it all in stride. I would expect the same if I went to their house wearing an LT jersey. My point is...as the guest, they should carry the burden of watching their step. No other team has a division rival that close with the type of fanbase they have, so I wouldn't expect anyone else to know besides us. Go to a Jets home game in your brightest NE jersey and mouth off to their fans...see what happens.:D

Trash talking is one thing... but you must have missed the part where I said it was the SD fans that were pushing and shoving and starting the fights. Not the other way around lol.

I seen it with MY OWN EYES. You have never witnessed it. Claiming that SD fans were "pushing and shoving and starting the fights" comes from your buddy who is neither an OAK or SD fan and wouldn't really have any business going to an OAK/SD game. I trust my own accounts over a NE fan whos SF buddy claimed that SD fans start all the fights. Get it?

... Are you dumb? HE WORKS AT THE GAMES. So he sees it first hand... Was that hard to understand?

Edit:

I'm not trying to start an argument here... but coming from someone who works the games and sees it first hand is also what I believe. You're a chargers fan, so your opinion is biased... or can be viewed that way ;) He's neither a OAK fan or a SD fan, so he has no emotions towards either team. So I'll take his word and yours, but his is less weighted IMO as he has no ties... just my .02

I've been a Charger season ticket holder for almost 20 years. Till about late 90's, most raider fans were trouble makers and calling the Q their home. A lots of fights would start by them, they would even start fight between themselves. But since then and the domination that Chargers have had over Raiders (9 straight wins), there are more and more Charger fans that are now being A-holes and starting fights. So I'm glad that some of these losers are being dealt with. :rocker:

At choking! I thought it was bad last year when we lost with a 14-2 record...but 18-0, choking on the biggest game...against another Manning, the weak one at that...and against a wild-card NFC team. Yeah you guys are way better than us at choking!

Three times in a row? That can't be. LdT said they'd beat us 9 out of 10 times. And he's classy, so he can't be wrong.

Well the Giants have not beat us since '89. Pats let 2 Mannings in a row get a SB ring. The Manning family sends their thanks. Want to compare? Now say this with ME dog-boy...the Chargers beats the Colts three times in a row. Pats are 1-2 with the Colts recently. Your reasoning is border-line ******ed.
