I vote for Specter.
He is an intelligent man in a position of high authority and should know better.

The sleaze bag Walsh, is a nothing loser without any brains to begin with

I can not believe the timing of this story....

there is truly a vendetta against the Patriots

this is a tough one...

Specter, while still a grade a douchenozzle, asked a question: why were the tapes destroyed? Goodell responded yesterday with a satisfactory answer, so if he wants to follow up with this, we'll have to see. While his timing can certainly be called into question, some speculate it is more his intent to embarrass the league on the day of their State of the Union address than embarrass the team on the eve of their Super Bowl. Comcast anyone?

Ratt Walsh, on the other hand, is dangling information he may or may not have on what someone may or may have done prior to him being fired by the organization, like it's a piece of candy to a toddler. He is asking for legal fund contributions so he can tell his "story" (I smell a book deal). He is cryptic and shady in his mannerisms, and this whole thing reminds me of that creepy Roger Clemens taped phone call. It almost seems like he is on the defensive pre-emtively. Strange. This guy sucks.

I vote for Walsh, only because he lacks the balls to face this head on like a man, and needs to hide behind unnamed sources while begging for legal fund contributors. If you have something to say, say it. Be a man. It really pisses me off that this guy is a season ticket holder.

It's hard to argue who is lower. Specter's #2 campaign contributor is Comcast so it's not hard to speculate why, of all people, he suddenly seems interested in spygate.

As for Walsh, Roman_Maroney is right: he's trolling for a book deal plain and simple:

"Really, I just [have] no incentive to really talk to anybody, no reason to
do it. For me, personally, I haven't really been able to see the gain in
doing it."

Matt Walsh better be very careful what he says. He better have proof to back it up too. Because if Lawyers get involved he may be the one who has PAY $$.

It better be worth it to this ****wad because his life and his family's life is going to change and not neccessarly for the good.

I do not know what Walsh's story is are what kind of guy he is, and I find it hard to believe you know him either.
Lets hold off on the bad things is going to happen to his family routine until there is more info.

As far as Specter goes, he is a long time Senator, who has served in good fashion on a very important committee for a long time, he is well respected. I just do not see what he has done to make the Pats fans so upset, his battle against the NFL and in particular the NFL Network is a good thing for the average fan.

I don't really get his interview, he says I might have something and if I do I might or might not let it out? I'm scared for my family in Ma. but for the right price I'll put them in harms way? What kind of journalism is this?

What the eff does me knowing him have to do with anything? Steve Bartman got run out of Chicago for touching a foul ball. WTF do you think is going to happen to Walsh.

If you can't see why Pats fans are pissed at Specter than your blind.

Do NOT forget those that are brining the vermin to light...the HATERS that are digging all of this up...Tomase??? I think he has some answering to do...OF COURSE he was not going to look at OTHER things..he is in teh camp of Borges....plain and simple..he doesn't know the game so he can NOT write about it.. stick to baseball and the Red Sox..... But there will be MORE...why?? Because there are haters everywhere!! I THINK this year was good because they are identified..jealous hatesr!! SCUM!!!
Whio is worse?? Spector is doing it because of $$$$$$$$ and that is simple...Walsh wants to be in the spotlight..of fame..let the media investigate him...amd see what he feels like..

both of them SHOULD BE LOCKED up in the mental institution.

Bill bellicheat for tainting and weakening the nfl's image. Bravo bill, at least the population in new england respect's you, the rest of the population think's your scum.

Wow, a loser Jet fan is calling Belichick, Bellicheat how original. Why don't you go back to JI and talk about mock drafts or something. GFY :D

When coaches leave the Patriots or any other NFL team they have to sign confidentiality agreements. If this douchebag persists with his claim and has in his posession tapes he will get the lawsuit of his life from the Pats. He's just looking for his 15 minutes of fame. I wonder why the Pats let him go? He's an assistant pro on Maui supposedly and asst. golf pros don't make enough money to live on that island unless one is homeless, living in his mother's cellar or renting a room in some ****house.

Anything with politics, they are the douch bags... But its not Matt walsh's fault Espn , the worst sports outfit in america, is the one not letting go...

Myopic people with tunnel vision never see well.

You need to look outside your little preconceived notion box.

ESPN should be ashamed. Nice time to announce a story that may or may not have happened 6 years ago.

Nice of them to also not mention possible spying by the Rams.

I am so pissed at them.
