take a listen. offers a perspective on spygate and how its been going on since george halas's days.

At this point, I hope that more like Sabol (who is an NFL historian and knows a million times more about any of this stuff than an everyday fan) become more vocal about this ridiculous hypocrisy. I don't give a flying **** if any of it is true anymore. In fact, I'll operate on the assumption that it is and it's commonplace. Because I think that's closest to the truth.

I still think it was dumb and careless of BB to continue taping after the league sent the memo and especially at the Meadowlands given his ugly falling out with Mangini, but more and more I'm coming around to your way of thinking. It is a witchhunt. When you're on top of the mountain everyone wants to knock you down.

This type of stuff hasn't and wont get the same "Play" as the negative stuff in regards to the pats and BB.

Fans, media and some disgruntled players of other teams hear what they want to hear.

what did he say?? There is no aufio of that...did FAN remove it??

Of course it's been going on forever and everyone in the game knows it.
This is a witchhunt but the problem is more than a few were burned at the stake before the hysteria died out.
BTW, nobody is more bothered by this witchhunt than Eric Mangini. Mangini never expected the outrageous overreaction to Spygate. Never expected it and isn't happy that it's still going on. He was looking to tweak BB because BB had thrown his camera guy out of Gillette the year before. Honestly beleive if Eric Mangini has known what the fallout was going to be he never would have started the whole thing to begin with. Remember Mangini coached these players and worked with these coaches for years. I think it bothers him a great deal that the Patriots accomplishments are being questioned and how this whole episode has spun out of control.

The only thing that is bothering Mangini is that after the Jets fire him, nobody will hire the backstabbing little ***** for his next job.

That is possible, but do you have any actual evidence that he feels that way or is just speculation on your part?
