The game is indeed on Fox, so, yes, it is Joe Buck. At least it's not Tim McCarver with him. That's what makes Sox playoff games so unbearable.

One thing that really bugged me in that game was the Pats players mocking the Eagles "wing flap." It was very uncool.

What's really funny is how they're talking even then about how Mike Vrabel catching a TD pass isn't a surprise anymore, yet teams are still routinely fooled by it in 2008.

"It looks like now if this game's won, it's going to be won by Donovan McNabb throwing the football." Perfectly innocuous sentence then; in hindsight, very funny.

I started a thread on this subject earlier. Joe Buck is the main culprit here. He is overrated as a broadcaster. It seems he is more concerned with the off field activities (e.g. Jessica Simpson, Archie Manning). I am not looking forward to the broadcast crew. But hey i can't have my cake and eat it too!!!

I think Aikman is one of the best broadcasters on TV. Buck annoys me but I don't hate him. Now McCarver is battling Gumbel for the worst announcer in sports...HISTORY! But I think McCarver has to win it, after all he actually played the f*cking game and is in the Hall of fame, yet seemingly knows absolute sh!t about the game - outside of pitching grips. You could take a recording of him in the first inning and just put in on a loop for the other 8. Simply terrible!

Cris Collinsworth was doing the color commentary that game, I forgot about that. I was watching it thinking I was going to hear Aikman at some point. I hate Collinsworth with a passion but I think he is a great color guy and I would much rather have him there then Aikman.

Aikman is a dud with an IQ of a houseplant. Not to mention he is a closet case. Buck is a smarmy little prick. Good choice of words, Patj. I noticed watching a couple of our old SB wins that Phifer was pretty damn good. Rodney being dominant was also quite apparent in this game as well our win again the Panthers.

I'm not as picky about announcers as many people are. I generally enjoy most if not all of them. I will say about Aikman, though, his bias toward the Cowboys was funny to listen to throughout the season, such as when he said that the Cowboys were the second-best team in the NFL and had the best chance of anyone to beat the Patriots ... this after NE had beaten Dallas on their home field by 3 TDs.
