The Indy board continues to be infatuated with the Patriots. In this post they claim that spygate was cheating even though the NFL ruled it gave the Pats no competitive advantage. Rule breaking yes, cheating no. Apparently Ernie Adams processed the film and viewed it, and then broke it down on the field.

I guess the reality that the current Colts team only winning one championship (a gift) has the holier than thou fan base scrambling to discredit perfection. Zzzzz snore Pass the pop-corn.

Fairly indicative of why Bostonians have more successful careers, build better business, are more competitive and brighter than them. We admire his intelligence and attention to detail. We recognize the competitive advantage that he brings to the table. They call him a weirdo because he is outside the standard paradigm. Innovation is poly-syllalbic and therefore banned in Indiana.

I lived in Fort Wayne for a couple years in the early 70's. They are such goobers you wouldn't believe it.

My wife and I saw BLAZING SADDLES there when it came out. Half the audience left in the first 15 minutes. No one was laughing during the entire movie except my wife and I. They looked to be in shock.

I worked in the auto industry (all men) and when we had company picnics, no one cared what the wives names were. They were referred to by "Mrs." followed by their husband's first name. My wife was called Mrs. Tom by everyone. She only went to one event :)

My favorite Indiana story, though, concerns the state police. They were accused of racial bias, a hot topic in the early 70's. The State Police Commandant showed his lack of bias by saying he had nothing against negroes (that's the word he used!!), saying that he even hired two as domestics in his home. I swear to God. The weirdest part is the NO ONE TOOK HIM TO TASK FOR THIS. They seemed to accept that this proved his non-bias.

Simply a strange state.

This has to be the most ironic thread I've ever seen.

So true! A normal person to them is a drunken, beer bellied red neck chewing a wad of tobacco and wearing a nascar tee-shirt with a Colts horseshoe hat while slapping his wife. I’m almost certain the Indiana school system will never produce an Ernie Adams type.

Who cares. They are content with their one championship and sacred team while we are working on our 4th with our 'cheating' and lies. Let them complain, won't get their team into the superbowl no matter how much they biatch aobut the Patriots.

Isn't this a bit, umm, ironic?

I pass through there to see the posts now and again. Many more threads about the patriots over there than Colts threads here. They can't stand Brady. But I guess when you are one and done there isn't much to talk about. I can't believe they want a SB in the new stadium. Who the ef wants to got to Indiana in February? or any time of year for that matter.

I think Patriots fans go to IndyStar when they need a break from blowing Brady and the Patriots.

You guys must get awfully full here on this forum.

Nope, I lurk for comedy. I get some great laughs reading things over there. Every fan base has its' winners, but there are some real gems over there.

I was talking more about those who actually post there who are Patriots fans. I guess you do not take the breaks they do.

I don't post there. I would get banned in 5 posts. I like talking (or typing) with opposing fans but the ignorance over there is just way to out there for me to be rational.

The word of Jaysus is all that is rational! Words like "logic" "free will" "thought" and "research" are not in The Word and will put yew in hell! (Disclaimer: No, it is not normal Catholic "be a good person" word, but a hatred for gays and anyone but your kin born-again diffusion of responsibility to Jay-sus Word) Praise be to Dungy!

Amen Brother, preach on!

The sad part is that's how a lot of it reads over there.

Said the Colts fan posting on the Patriots board.. Or were you being ironic?

If the NFL was a school, then Indianapolis would be the portable trailer out back where all the "special" kids went to learn.

What else do they have to talk about on Indystar? The Colts´ perfectly respectable yet utterly unremarkable season is over. I´m not trying to be a jerk by saying they have nothing better to talk about, but they´ve been out of it for a couple weeks and the Pats are doing what P Manning has the technical skills and weapons to accomplish but just can´t seem to get done. You can only speculate so much about why that is. Or at least sometimes they need to give themselves a break and talk some trash about the Pats. What they are doing is entirely human nature and in my opinion, not all that notable.

I registered there several months ago under the user name "19-and-0".

I think that name got me on alert. A few weeks back I posted nothing more than the lifetime playoff statistics for Manning and Brady, complete with the urls from profootballreference.com

poof!

Like that I was banned for life.
