Here are my top 2 I have heard or read!

1.Giants are undefeated in the White jersey's. (Well the Pats are 12-0 in the blues)

2.Giants are the hottest team in the NFL.(since when is a 3 game winning streak better than a 18?

I am sure there is more, but I thought these were the two best I have heard.

Re: Stupidest Reason you have heard, why the Gianst will win

because they "almost" won last time, even thought they didn't.

Re: Stupidest Reason you have heard, why the Gianst will win

Because Brandon Jacobs "trucked" Rodney Harrison on ONE play.

I've been hearing this one a lot and it makes me laugh everytime:

"Because the Giants have been hot lately and the Pats haven't been playing well in the past 6 weeks"

Because the Jets won in Super Bowl III. - Dr. Z

A Patriot is a person who loves his country.

A Giant is much bigger in physical stature.

A small human could not beat up on a Giant.

So the Giants will win.:bricks:

C'mon, you ripped of Charles Barkley on that one...I read the same thing and shook my head.

  1. Confidence
  2. Swagger
  3. Hot Streak

A reason that make me go huh? Manning has been the best qb in the playoffs. Ok, he hasn't thrown a pick. In three games he's thrown 4 TD's. Does anyone seriously think he's going to outplay TFB?

I din't rip off anything. The question was "the dumbest reason you have heard" His took the cake. But I've also heard similar variations of this sentiment from many other people (i.e. "how can you bet against 10 straight road wins?")

Because the 2007 Giants are identical to the 2001 Patriots, and the 2007 Patriots are identical to the 2001 Rams.

After watching the America's Game film on the 2001 Patriots, I find this one much less funny. Apparently, Belichick used the fact that the Patriots had only lost to the Rams by 7 to great effect, and Lawyer Milloy talked about how the Patriots' locker room was jubilant after the game, even though they lost, because they had proved they could play with the best team in the NFL.

So, I'm not quite ready to dismiss this one yet.

you're right...I am a little slooooowwww...

Lincoln Kennedy on Rome is Burning:

Giants will win because they are familiar with the Pats having just played them.

This is the one that really makes me laugh.

In the Pats two playoff games they have been kneeling on the ball with a two score advantage.

On those same weekends the Giants have had one game come down to the wire, and were it not for Crayton slowing down, the boys would have won.

The next game was an overtime game where Lord Favre looked more interested in hitting the showers then hitting his receivers.

How is barely winning two weeks in a row hot (one game overtime), and the Pats kneeling with a two score advantage not playing well???

Because the pressure of going undefeated will get to the Pats
