Just saw an interview from the Pats hotel with Brady on NFLN. When asked about the impact of playing with Moss, he said I want to play with him until I retire and I plan on playing another ten years.

It looks almost like another media day. They're pretty much talking to everybody.

And i think he can do it, wow to our adversaries....LOL

Maybe in 2017 we can bump all the threads knocking Brett Favre for playing so late into his career.

Well if Brady is throwing 29 INTs in a season we'll probably be wanting him to hang up the cleats ;)

Randy Cross was interviewed on WEEI and he said that Brady and Belichick will probably win 6 Super Bowls barring injury or conflict within the Patriots organization. I can't even fathom that right now.

Well if we win this one, that's 4 . . . with Brady 31 next year I guess 6 total would be reasonable (IF we win this week). More is probably too optimistic but it's kind of tough to see Brady and Belichick not having a good shot at two more over 6-8 years if they stay together :rocker:

I don't think that's an unreasonable number at all. Assuming we win this one, and depending on how the offseason pans out, I would fully expect us to be the favorites again next year.

I think if we win this one, at least two more is not out of the realm of possibility.

He also said in that same interview that Randy and he (TOM) were a package! I'm going anywhere Randy's going...
asked if they were a package deal, he said yup, package deal, that's what it is...........

interesting Think this close to freeagency, and $$$ deals BB will probalby give him hell

why would they have to be bumped? Farve will still be playing in 2017

I have to disagree...Tom gave the team a hometown discount, and would think he'd probably encourage Randy to do the same.:)

And Tom can help Randy make up the hometown discount. Tom is hot in the ad world. An "I only do advertisements if my WR is in them too" policy and Randy makes more money playing for the Pats at league minimum then he would wearing any other jersey.

Not only that, but I am sure playoff shares are nice, along with ads for being a super bowl champion. I also think Randy has enough money, he knows now what it is to be near the top of the mountain, if not king of the mountain after Sunday. After playing for a top pick the last couple of years, what good is the extra money to go elsewhere and maybe compete, or take a few less dollars, stay here, play for titles and break records.

Considering Brady's health has been fantastic over the years I see no reason why 10 years is unlikely at all. Dunno about Randy lasting that long though...

I think Brady was probably reiterating to the the FO what he's getting ready to say, or maybe already has said, behind close doors. He's not going to accept another Deion Branch situation, so they better get this one figured out.

Anyone know where I can see this interview (Did they show it on NFL Total Access on NFLN, etc.?)? Or when it will be on again?

He gave them way more than a hometown discount, Peyton Manning and even Mike Vick had an extra $30 million in their contracts. The only upside to Tom's deal was he got more guaranteed up front but his overall contract is much less lucrative than those guys.

I am not sure how candid he is with the FO behind closed doors, and I don't want to rehash the whole Branch affair, but I don't fault the Pats for what happened with Deion.

The day that Brady calls its quit will be a tough day...I can see him playing another decade. His greatest strengths are his a) accuracy b) ability to read D's c) his pocket presence. I don't see any of those declining that severely with age, and in fact, you could almost say he's great in spite of his body - even though he's certainly added bulk and is more cut than when he came into the league, he's not exactly a physical specimen. He's just reaching his prime right now, he's got a lot of years ahead of him.

It was on NFLN and it was live coverage of a media session at the Pats hotel. I'm sure pieces of it will be on Total Access, but I don't know if this particular clip will.
