Just curious as to who each members favorite player is. I know it probably has been brought up before, so don't yell at me if this is a repetative thread. I am talking about current players, not all-time. Mine is...

Randy Moss because he has completely changed the offensive gameplan. He has made Welker, Maroney, Gaffney, Stallworth and Watson all better and he also took Tom Brady's game to another level. Not to mention, he is the most athletically gifted receiver ever, and is a human highlight reel. I will say he is more talented than Jerry Rice, not better, but more talented. But it is no coincidence that Moss was on the two highest scoring offenses ever.

Lonnie Paxton.

Agree on Moss. I wouldn't actually dub him my "favorite", because of course the generic and standard #1 favorite slot is reserved for Tom, but assuming we're looking beyond that Randy definitely has a place in my heart. I'm not sure he necessarily took Tom's game to another level, just like I don't necessarily think Tom took Randy's game to another level. I think both bring out the best in each other, because they're both extraordinarily talented and that allows both to achieve what they have.

It was Chris Slade...

then it was Willie

Now i think im boring and have to pick Brady

Ofcourse Brady #1, but after that I have a few others

Troy Brown

Kevin Faulk

Ben Coates

Curtis Martin (I know  )

So many more............

I'm struggling over a choice between Billy Yates and LeKevin Smith.

The pic in my Avatar speaks for itself. :D

For me it's a tie between Randy Vrabel Maroney and Brady

It's so hard. I really can't pick against Brady because he's the ultimate player and teamate. But others who I'd like to pick are Wilfork, Bruschi and Harrison. My wife's favorite is Troy.

V Weezy
T Weezy
J Geezy

and... Big Sey

Cause they will be making it hard on Big Blue this Sunday

;)

Rodney Harrison. What can I say about him that everyone in this forum already doesn't love about him? He personifies hard-working, team-oriented, aggressive, balls-to-the-wall football.

Agreed. Rodney is my favorite. But I also realize he's one of those guys you love when he's on your team, and hate when he's not.

Rodney Harrison -- he is an animal

and Robert Kraft - I think he is one of my favorite Patriots

Tedy Bruschi is my favorite Pats player . . .

kraft cuz he doesnt butt in like other owners haha & moss..welker is close too cuz that guy is a beast for his size

I think it's between Mike Vrabel and Logan Mankins.

I like Vrabel because he's so versatile, and when I started to watch the Patriots, he wasn't as popular as Bruschi, and I wanted him to be.

I just like Mankins because he plays the game it was meant to be played. He's mean. And he's got that cool ass beard.

Last year it was Troy Brown. This year it's Kevin Faulk. The reason is the same for each.

On a team of teammates who define what it is to be a part of a team, they represent the pinnacle of the definition of teammate.

It seems that nearly every Patriot has a versatility unmatched by any other team's players. If Belichick has Hanson playing fullback on Sunday, I would not only not be surprised I would expect Hanson to effectively clear a path for Maroney or Faulk.

Troy and Kevin have taken this standard to a new level. These two have done and will do anything for the team. Whatever they are called upon to do, they do. Neither will see the Hall, or even get more than a cursory glance, but both of them have provided more than their fair share to the heart, soul and engine of the Patriots.

That's my two cents.
