man, look how fast Troy looks there.

I still get goosebumps when I see the team introduction. Even though I almost know this game like the back of my hand, I still watch it whenever its on.

That's probably my favorite TD of all time. It's right in the corner of the Superdome where I sit for Saints games.

I forgot all about Grant Williams and how much he stepped up in this game. That block on the 3rd and 2 just before the end of the half was awesome.

Ahhh...Bono is playin' our theme song. :D

Ty never made any more leaving here than the offer that was on the table. Last time I checked he was down $1M over the 4 years. But then we won it all with Asante Samuel and Randall Gay in 2004. That is why Bill won't pay 8-9 bazillion for a corner in this system. Ty was a more talented athlete than Asante, and a lot more physical shut down corner - but Polian rendered those moot.

I'd forgotten how damn sad the half time show was with all of those names...

Thanks, I've wondered about that the past few weeks - money being equal I bet he'd have liked to be on this team the past few years.

I forgot how well Antwain Smith played in this game. Some good runs in there and he outplayed Marshall Faulk.

Maybe that's why Marshall is so unattractively bitter...

My favorite moment as a pats fan was when they came out as a team at the begging fo the this game . . . Darn they did cut it off in this rebroadcast . . .

Direct snap to Kevin Faulk.. like a charm.

I LOVE how he ran across the field like a madman after AV nailed the final kick. Like a high-speed goose step!

He had his chances. The real money was equal, he just needed the phonye fluff taked on to his offers. But like Lawyer he also had some issues with being labled a system player. If Bill was willing to pay him as if he was above the system, he would have loved to stay. The only reason they kept him longer than Lawyer was he was playing at a higher level and he wasn't a clubhouse instigator like Milloy. Ty liked his teamates, but he really didn't care about them getting credit or contracts like Lawyer did, Ty was only concerned with Ty's financials...

Sad thing is he's now a bubble HOF'er, and had he stayed here he'd probably be a lock. He might not have had 10 picks in 2005, but he'd have had nearly as many overall counting playoff appearances.

The DB's and corners where so much more effective in 2001. Stupid Polian for changing the defensive rules.

This is some nice defense I'm watching here,

Here is when I threw up during my Super Bowl party. From pure joy and happiness to a punch in the gut.

I thought we were going to lose at this point. I was prepared for a classic boston sportsfan heartbeak.

When is the NFLN going to retire that stupid Samsung commercial where the guy is jumping around like a monkey after the Jets win a challenge? Seriously, fire whatever ad executive came up with that celebration.

yah i thought it was game set match after the fumble recovery TD, but what are you going to do. . . It felt sooooooo good the first time it happened live . . .

I hope we can pull this one out . . . . :)
