Ok, I've officially stopped worrying about this game, thanks Plax.

Wow, thanks Plexiglass. And media day hasn't even started. You probably couldn't have said it any better, except for today when hopefully you'll repeat it when someone asks about it.

Open mouth insert loss :rocker:

No big deal. You don't expect him to go out and say "Yeah, we're going to get blown out 48-14.", do you?

Actually if you read the quote he just predicts the score not the winner.. but he should have kept his mouth shut though

If they think they can hold us to 17 then they obviously havent been studying hard enough.

I could see a crazy prediction like 30-28 but cmon 17 rofl.

Maybe it's an insight into how he really thinks.
He gives his team only 23 points which is about the max, IMO.
He doesn't see his team scoring in the 30's neither do most PATs fans.
But their D is going have to play perfect to keep PATs Offense under 30.
He really knows this.
His 17 prediction is just wishful thinking ... just some number less than 23.

I personally don't think it's a big deal but thankfully the team lining up across from him on Sunday will.

Can only hope SportsCenter does what they do best and runs with this. Lord knows if it could be used against the Pats they'd be twisting this every way they could.

(in my best Dr Evil voice)
"you just don't get it BlackGlass do you? you don't." Its not about saying it one way or the other. its the fact that everyone else on the other side of the field is not going ot even hint at it and make what you said into a no respect thing. Of course no one expects them to say we are gonna loose. However us Pats fans expect our team to not even approach that question and only say its gonna be a tough game and we have to play our best if we want to walk away victorious. thats the difference between a 3 time champion ballclub and an also ran

Rule #1: Don't say anything ...... oh, never mind.

Rule #2: If you're going to say it, make is a 38-37 score so that they know how great you think they are to score 37.

its funny that all the people in this thread who say "what do you expect him to think" and "its not a big deal" are Giants fans who are crapping in their pants right now.

I hope Plexiglass catches a nice pass and spikes the ball on the 30 yard line again.

what a sack of garbage that guy is.

The Patriots haven't been held to under 20 points all year, and that was on a nasty, cold, windy, and rainy day against the Jets. If Plexiglass thinks his D is gonna hold us below our worst performance all year, he's in for a shock.

These are some truths the mediots seem to forget. The last time these 2 teams played, the Patriots O scored about their average for the season, where as the Giants scored well over their season average. Our D gave up the most points it had all season, in fact double its normal allowance. The Giants D had a number of blowouts this season and has had an up and down year. If both teams just play their average games, the Patriots should win by 10 and never look back.

I just sent Mike and Mike an email, pretending to be an enraged Giants fan regarding Plax's prediction. I HOPE they run with this.

Not holding out much hope though since 'Greeny' is babbling on about how great a sign it is that 85% of the Giants all wore black yesterday for the trip to Arizona. "An amazing display of Unity". Blechhh!!

My prayers have been answered.

But, I figured "no, none of the Giants can be that stupid to say something that will give the Patriots just one more thing to get them focused". Then here comes Plax right out of the gate.:rocker:

I dunno...looked like they were going to their own funeral to me.

you know, i heard all the press conference from the Pats players and NONE of them have the to gut to predict anything. All do is compliments how great the Giants are and it's a gonna big challenge for them.

And these freaking g-girls already running their mouth to give the Pats another reason to get their ***** humiliated.

And don't forget that 7 of the Giants' points came on a bizarre sequence that the Giants certainly can't count on repeating (bogus penalty + the Pats missing two of their better coverage guys), and another 7 came after the game was effectively over (by the time they scored that last touchdown, they had to go for the onside kick, which they had close to zero chance of recovering).

I'm a Giants fan? That's news to me.

My point is, he HAS to say that. He plays for the Giants. He can't go out and say his team is going to lose. And before you say it, I know...the Patritos wouldn't have given a prediction at all. I know. Plaxico is not a Patriot. Let him talk all he wants.
