Damn it! Carolina just scored a bomb on us 85 freaking yards, took lead too.

6:51 left in game. Need to score quick, can't let them keep riding this momentum. Come on please Tommy I could almost taste this championship!

22-21

I'm a bit concerned.... Our secondary seems to be made of glass!

Ah geez, tight game. Is Tom Brady the real deal? Can he do it again?

its too bad ty law and deion branch didnt get a chance to be part of...... EVER! :(

Seriously, in watching this game the thing that strikes me is how FAST our defense looked in this game compared to what it looks like now. They were all over Delhomme and his runners in the 1st half (of course they got tired/injured in the 2nd half and allowed those bombs you are talking about to occur).

Do you think the Pats will come out more aggressive earlier in the game in the SB? They were able to rattle Eli Manning in the 4th quarter in Dec. when they started "bringing it" in the 4th quarter. The also seemed to do this in the playoffs - waiting until late in the game to really get after the QB. I find it maddening and somewhat dangerous (i.e. we let everybody hang around too long before going for the throat). Are we saving it for the SB or do we just not have the horses anymore?

TOUCHDOWN!!!!!!!!!

:rocker: :rocker: :D :singing:

How about Willie McG & David Givens? They were pretty big in this game too.

Looking at this game, it just seems like this years team is so much better than the Patriots team of 2004. It is kinda weird.

Mayer and Akins are KILLING us at safety in the 4th qtr.

I'm not trying to jinx us or anything, but...

I can't see Sunday being ANYTHING close to this kind of game. So it's kind of refreshing watching this replay, reliving those memories of sweating it out late in the 4th, because I honestly believe there'll be smoother sailing this Sunday.

OMG, on minute left and Carolina kicked off out of bounds. All three timeouts to get Adam in range!

I don't know about any of you, but I remember being really confident that the Pats would pull it out. Even when they were down 22-21 with a little over 6 minutes to go. I was never really all that scared.

Did anyone else think the officiating was VERY bad in this game?

Thought alot of the calls benefited Carolina, especially one where Moose clearly fumbled and the whistle inevertedly blew, and another where a Panthers' DL clearly hit Brady in the helmet, but no call.

Watching the last part of that game made me realize how difficult it's going to be to watch next week. Of course all I want is a win but if it's close it will be another torturous four hours . . .

They're never easy in the NFL, unless it's a 45 pt win of course, but seriously I don't think it'll be too bad watching. Maybe the Giants score 7 early and that "sigh here we go" factor kicks in, but I don't think the game will stay neck and neck.
