The rally is suppose to start at around 11. But the pre-rally, rally is on channel 7 in Boston right now.

Actually it starts at 10AM and is scheduled to end at 11:05 when the team begins to board the busses. NECN has been showing fans entering the stadium, fittingly it is snowing... Looks like lots of families with kids which is a great way for them to bond with the team and see the inside of Gillette!

They said BB and Kraft plus players who have not been announced will address the crowd, plus the cheerleaders will be performing.

Stacy James just said the the rally will begin "around 11". That's when the players and coaches will make their appearance.

What Stacey may be saying is the live appearances will begin around 11 and last for 10 minutes or so because they leave at 11:05. I guess they will be showing videos and stuff until then. Obviously they aren't going to ask the team and staff to stand around on an outdoor stage for very long.

7 now says they will show the last hour of the SD game to start the rally. Then when they leave the stage the players will go through their pre boarding check in the stadium so the 5 busses can roll right onto the tarmac and onto their plane. That will also give the fans a chance to reposition to send off the busses I would guess.

5 is kind of ballaxing it, as is usually the case when they let news departments take over. Would have been a better show to do All Access live. But at least they are on, and the others seem to be doing regular Sunday AM drivel.

Channel 4 has Game Day on at 11 according to the Guide.

Gil and Geno are doing the warmup now. Zolak was working the crowd earlier.
Geno is predicting after they get the job done a new America's Team.

Going to show some great video clips now, but 5 will instead go back to two weekend anchors I've never seen babbling over it...

Just show us what the folks in the stadium are seeing and hearing - is that so hard to figure out?

That is quite possibly the worst part of being in the Super Bowl (if there is such a thing). The "mainstream news media" that try to cover such big events end up making it worse with their babbling and drivel. Who the frig cares what people are wearing?
