Bill Plaschke not a fan of Tom Brady

I can't take articles like that seriously.

Directly comparing Brady to A-Rod is one of the dumbest things I've read this season. I find it hard to believe he's never seen Brady gearing up his teammates in the huddle or on the sideline. Hell, even the widespread footage of his headbutting teammates should be enough to seperate him from a primadonna like Rodriguez.

I was thinking more along the lines of his POST season record. How insulting to Brady to be compared to Arod in the week leading up to his 4th Superbowl in 7 years as a starter. Plaschke hates the Pats and his biased in this article is irresponsible.

There's so many holes in his story it isn't even worth the time. The only thing at this point that will shut people up is not #4, but #5 for Brady. Also, this guy is one of 4 or 5 reasons I don't watch PTI. Christ, sports columnists are getting as inaccurate as weathermen.

No fire in his eyes, how about everytime a receiver runs the wrong route and he gets in his face, every time the o line commits a stupid penalty, or when he comes back to the bench and he starts yelling at people.. maybe he is just not paying attention. These guys get confused with calm professionalism and hysteria.

Brady is one of the greatest leader in Team Sports, currently and in history. Ask anyone who has left NE to comment on Brady and his leadership and just out and out passion to win! Plaschke is a moron and I hate Around the Horn. They all hate on the Pats for whatever reason.

Someone should send this story directly to Tommy! He'd just LOVE to read it. I've said this before and I'll say it again...many in the media have somehow convinced themselves they are actually part of the sports scene and that they are celebrities. I guess most sports writers will continue to write as if their opinions are important and we'll continue to to tell each other how stupid many of them are.

They just don't care about quality and accuracy. It's all about generating controversy that somehow translates into selling more newspapers...hey, maybe we're the idiots for buying them!

this hack is a know nothing putz and he wouldn't know fire if it burned him.

is JR related to mercury???? sounds like sour grapes to me.the game is what it is,tom just plays better than everyone.:)

Ive emailed him my thoughts, I suggest all Pats fans do the same...

They say it's not fair to compare players or teams from different eras. I got news for Unitas, Jr. His father wouldn't make it through a game alive in the modern era NFL. Nor would many of those teams win many games. The league and the sport have evolved. It's a coaches league, has been for almost 25 years now. And the players are bigger, stronger, faster than anything Unitas ever faced.

And I guess we missed the Manning version of this article last year...although at least he still treats his coaching staff like excess baggage ala Unitas, but he also plays for the chief architect of the make offense easier committee - the GM of Unitas' own Colts.

Bill Plaschke: Hmmm... how can I get some clicks? Let's see, none of my teams are in the Super Bowl so I can't use them. I know, I compare.... Brady... yeah, that's the ticket. Brady to.... who can I use? He has to be dead, because anyone living could never say anything bad about the way Tom Brady plays. Hmmm... is there a late quarterback whose family feels has had his legacy minimized? Unitas!! Yeah, his family hates the fact that the game has evolved to the point where the QB is protected.

As a Sox fan, I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo relieved that A-Rod is not the "Tom Brady" of his sport.

Phew!

Plaschke wants attention and he is getting it. BUT, want an absurd, National Enquirer-type article.

nothing in that article made sense. someone was very bored and decided to write some crap

What a putz.

He's just trying to get attention by throwing out a lame, shoddily written article using Tom Brady as a hook.
It shouldn't have made it past his editor.

When watching PTI, which I can no longer stand (except for Woody - you gotta like that clown), I had always loathed Plashke, especially. He reminds me of that very nerdy kid in school who would spit when he talked ... and someone out there decided that it would be a good idea to put him on TV ???

What a joke. As a die-hard fan of the Patriots, the very first thing I look for when the Patriots take the field, is a camera pan of Brady. Its reassuring to see Brady's eyes which have that fixed trance solely focused on victory. Don't know what Plaschke is looking at.

What a joke of an article. The guys today rushing the passer are huge and fast compared to yestyear.

And I'm sure McDaniels in his first year when he was the unofficial offensive coordinator knew more than Brady.

Bill P. is just a sensationalist, he illustrates himself as a joke on PTI.
