On NFLN. Ouch.

Those early drops by the WR and Blackmon were killers.

I'd love to watch that again. I haven't seen it since it first aired live. And I was in college at the time and had to work that Sunday at a convenience store. I watched it on a 5" b&w that I had. :(

It wouldn't have mattered if they had caught them. It was complete and utter devastation.

Oh really, dropped TDs and INTs that would have led to easy TDs wouldn't have mattered? It may not have changed the outcome of the game, but it would have made it far more competitive, would have put the Pats in the lead in the 1Q, and who knows from there.

It's fun to watch for me because I feel 90% detached from it.

No it wouldn't have mattered. The Pats had -19 total yards at halftime vs 236 for the Bears. And amazingly enough the Pats did have the lead in the 1st quarter of that game.

They've been showing highlights of every Superbowl. I've been watching since the first, like six hours ago. I can't stop watching this porn. Doesn't look like I'm going to bed tonight. . .

Oh my god, you are so slow I actually feel bad for you. If you do not understand that WR catches and INTs can actually change yardage statisitcs, I don't know what to tell you.

Have you watched that game lately or are you just arguing for the sake of it like the winner that you are? You just prove over and over again how lame you are.

Same here bud. Except for me it's just killing my Sunday afternoon.

I'm not sure why so many people here's first reaction is to resort to name-calling and insults. My point of posting the yardage is to show how lopsided the game was. Yes, I watched and the game live and I watched the replay of the game a couple days ago. The Pats were overwhelmed in that game. A couple plays would not have mattered.

Maybe because you are so frustrating and stubborn? No one insults me or many others here. LOL, OK, sorry for insulting you.

The "couple plays" I'm talking about were worth 21 points. A sure TD dropped by Morgan and two TDs that Blackmon would have scored if he could have held on to INTs. If you don't think those would have mattered... I really don't care actually. It's late where you are. Go to bed.

Hey Patjew,
just how big is the NFL in Hong Kong? And in other Asian nations? Obviously, they watch our Superbowls, but can you find games on TV every week? How popular is it there, in comparison to something here? Say like hockey, or soccer?

It's practically non-existent here. Yes, now and then there is an article about it in the English-language papers, but that's about it. They do show the biggest playoff games on ESPN Asia, but remember they're on early AM here and it's only ex-Pats like me watching. Some people have some vague idea that the "Super Bowl" exists, but that's about it. Soccer is huge here, as is rugby and cricket in other parts of Asia. F1 is big, too. Horse racing is big in HK. No joke. The most popular US sport here is the NBA. A big reason for that is Yao, of course. Baseball is not played in HK but is big in Japan.

I'm trying to think of a US analogy for the NFL in Asia. Probably something like curling that few people watch or even know exists. It's even less popular in the mainland.

The music during these Giants game highlights is bizarre.

Thanks man. That really surprises me about baseball not being played over there.
Okay, gotta get some sleep. Gonna TiVo the rest of these games. I really wanted to see some Belichick footage during these Giants games. . .
