Ok so he is still not good to go? I wonder if he will practice at all
before next week. So he goes into the super bowl rested that's good.
But the question lingers ... how bad is his ankle?

One thing I doubt they will be installing very much new in the offense
passing game without Brady to practice. Maybe new running stuff for
the Giants.

Begin Story :

He's tweaked his ankle and is resting it.

End Story.

I'm glad he is resting, he always seems to do better in big games w/ some time off.

Oh, you must have heard.....Stallworth is in as QB...they are running the option. Everything's going to be all right.

Brady not at the "MEDIA PORTION" of practice. Get it, MEDIA PORTION. We have no idea if he's practicing after the media leaves. 10-15 minutes is all he may be missing. BB is playing this perfectly.

serious question: did he practice the week leading up to SB36? how much, do we know?

Like Stallworth's reply...I was joking.

If you need to relax, step away from your keyboard and chill.

I'm a bit concerned by this.

Just a bit. Not a lot.

Maybe the Patriots feel they have this as a luxury because of the 2 weeks and becuase of recently prepping for the same team.

Remember that 36 only had one week from the AFCCG to the SB. I don't recall for sure but I'm guessing that he practiced to a limited extent that week.

My bad, didn't mean to quote your reply. I'm just saying it early because there are a lot of Nervous Nellys on this board.

duh, it's a hoax. Brady is hiding in the bathroom until the media leaves

You know what - I am a proud PAT fan but I really don't understand this. Just make some sort of statement that he's resting or will come to practice. What is this? Why so much secrecy on something that really doesn't give them any sort of advantage because the Giants will be practicing for TB playing. Makes little sense......

my my my is this going to be a long week...can't we just get to the game...between all of the "bootgate" and "my god, brady missed 10 minutes of practice lets install a running game plan" talk is just absurd...lets just play the game!

I think too much is being made of this stuff

If this were the year that the Super Bowl was played a week later after the AFCCG/NFCCG Brady would have been out there RIGHT NOW practicing - Without a doubt

Brady has only needed 3 or 4 days practice weekly to have beaten the last 18teams so really whats the big deal right now?

If he is still sidelined and missing from practice next Wednesday then you can worry a bit.

Moss didn't practice or play the whole preseason. We all know how that worked out.

For every "Brady Not at Practice, Condition for SB Unknown" headline, there is one less "Patriots Unbeaten, Date with Destiny" headline for the Giants to use as motivation for their preparation. I think this is a good thing.

Even without the ankle, Brady can use the rest. Bumps and bruises, bad weather, slinging the ball an inordinate amount of times, etc. Get the man a cot, the gameplan and some lemonade...at least until next week.

Kevin Faulk said yesterday if the game was today Brady would have played and if the game was this past Monday or Tuesday Brady would have played.

When I see Brady being pushed in a wheelchair to the plane Sunday then I MAY be concerned.

Don't be so sure. Wes claims Donte made that up, and that he (Wes Welker) will be playing QB.

Maybe BB feels that the Patriots haven't had enough media attention this year, slighted for being overlooked as the media spent too much time on the Dolphins pursuit for imperfection.

Ding, ding, ding............ End of story.

Direct snaps to Faulk?
