Patriots the team of the year?

I think that while the patriots is a great team as a whole, that there are many teams who have just as much talent. The cowboys and packers for instance, I believe these three teams are right up there, but certain teams have gotten the better end of luck than the others... just my 2 cents :bricks:

Until the Chargers defeat sent them scurrying into hiding we had some quality Colt trolls who actually knew something about football. Even the Charger trolls that replaced them often could say something coherent, but so far the only Giants troll that seems to be able to put together a coherent thought is that Street guy.

Good teams create their own luck doing things like maintaining sharp focus and paying attention to situational detail. And talent alone doesn't win squat in a team game like football. Just ask Dan Marino.

The Giants became probably the best "team" in the NFC down the stretch. Loss of talent probably helped them sharpen their focus. But at the end of the day they aren't as talented, and being competitive in the NFC isn't nearly the same as being undefeated playing in the AFC.
