Screw Costas, he is so transparent! He is a hater on my PATS! GO PATS! Shut that dwarf up! go PATS!

He hates BB for sure, and I don't like Costas, but he just said that if we win the SB, there will be no doubt that the Pats are the best team of all time.

And Carter said Brady will go down as the best QB ever to play.

Agreed, I think that was his way of staying PC.

Yeah, he's just trying to appear "balanced and objective" but he is a hater and he is a pompous sniveling little jerk. I can't stand the guy.

He will be all about the G-Men come this timenext week! I saw Marino starting to sweat! Anyway, Costas is a jerk about our PATS, WHY?

We all need to take a breath and dig in for a long 10 days. The in thing for the mediots will be to pick (openly root) for the Giants to win.

They will point to the "close call" Sunday against the Chargers and ignore NY's porous pass defense, or the fact the entire right side of our o-line was missing in the Week 17 game, or that Brady had 350 yards passing on a windy night (the SB will be in a dome, another fact they seem to miss) against NY, or that the Giants kickoff return completely changed the nature of that first game and isn't likely to happen again.

They will ignore it all because most (not all) hate Belichick and are sick and tired of this "boring" team winning games and are DESPERATE to see them lose.

Beutifully Said,... You DA MAN!

I lost all respect for Costas, Marino and Collinsworth on the episode of "Inside the NFL", prior to the Pats/Jets game, when Collinsworth did the skit of what Mangini should say to his team: something to the effect of purposefully try to injure the Pats. Absolutely pathetic.

Why what??

He always gives this snide little laugh/smirk whenever Belichick is brought up. I don't think that professional non-player broadcasters like him get caught up in rooting for or against teams the same way us fans do, but I think he has a personal distaste for Belichick probably because he is a prototypical media fraternity guy and Belichick simply doesn't throw a bone to people like that.

I think what he meant to say was, If not for 10 minutes in the Pats game, and an unlikely Vinatieri miss against San Diego, not playing to win against the Titan and getting their A**es handed to them by the Chargers second string, We could be looking at undefeated Indianapolis Colts going for 19-0!

Great in depth stories and interviews about the Giants. Really excited about next week's show since they announced that Eli Manning will be interviewed by Costas and Mike Strahan will be in their Ariz. studio. HBO answered so many questions I had about the Giants except one - - who are they playing against in the Super Bowl?

Agreed--that was really appalling. I would have given it a pass on some kind of lame comedy show, but in that context it was just disgusting. (Not even mentioning their pathetic giggling and cheering about it.)

I'm embarrassed to say that once upon a time I actually sort of liked Costas--thought he was a smart, literate sports fan, even though he always came across as sort of precious. But as he gets older he's getting more and more like what another poster said, a snivelling little jerk.

It happens since he is now just a hasbeen 5'3 wrinkly, balding bufoon that nobody cares for, so he's just bitter.

I lost all respect for him as any type of journalist when he interviewed Goodell on the day that the leaked tape. He didn't even ask him about it when it should have been question #1 or 2. " Ugh Mr. Commish, how did your wife's employer get a copy of a tape that was supposed to be secured in NFL offices?"
That could be a thread starter. When did you lose any and all respect for Bob Costas?????

I can't stand him and Keith Olberman. His forced fake laughter and shrill responses whenever Olberman comes on are nothing short of pathetic.

Well I don't see what's "boring" about a record-setting, high octane team that scored an average of 36.8 ppg, but then again I'm not the media. :p

Let the prognosticators pick against the Pats. I don't care. I just hope they have the decency to eat crow when the Pats take down the Giants. Probably not, but you can hope. This means you "Dr." Z!

I never have & never will respect Bob Costas. He's a big jerk.

I like Bob Costas; always have. I don't agree with everything he says, but he does a really good job.

Oh, stop it already! He was being neutral at worse. Perhaps you just can't handle it when somebody gives the other team a little credit.
