Seriously, I don't think they would have scored. I just had to get that off my chest. Sey would have set the tone by headbutting Ditka before the game and then we would have laid the smack down.

You mean the 85 Bears not the 86 bears. Either way, it's a mute point since they're from a different era.
You mean it's a "moot" point.

You can't match up teams from different eras. Too many variables. Any team with Walter Payton would have scored some points. The Bears averaged 29 points a game during the regular season and 30 a game in the playoffs and you think they wouldn't score?
The 85 Bears team dominated the playoffs like no team in NFL history. They are the gold standard.
Their playoff scores:
21-0
24-0
46-10
91-10 differential!
They allowed 3.3 freaking points per playoff game. They finished 18-1 and destroyed their playoff competition like no other team in NFL history.
I'd rank 70s Steelers, 90s Cowboys and late 80s 49ers ahead of 85 Bears.
Lightningbolt do you post in the Gamefaqs Sports and Racing - NFL section at all?

The Bears beat the Tony Eason led Pats in the SB, and shut out the Deiter Brock led Rams in the NFC Championship....The current Pats would lay 50+ on those teams - even accounting for inflation...

That 45 was as much about an unprepared inept NE team and everything falling apart in a game...
The 2007 Miami Dolphins would beat the '85 Bears. The guys are so much bigger today.
Different eras, but the Patriots are the ones who went undefeated (forecasting) while the Bears did not. The margin of victory also considerably favors N.E.
