Wouldn't this be the best SB ending play?

the best ending play for this SB?

Joe Buck: "It looks like Coach Belichick pulled Tom Brady during the two minute warning and is sending in Matt Cassell for the final kneel downs. So we have the final line on Tom Brady today, 28 completions, 32 attempts, 395 yards, four Touchdowns and no interceptions."

Troy Aikman: "I think I see Troy Brown lining up as well."

Joe Buck: "It seems as if Belkichick has taken out as many starters as he can and is letting everyone of his players get a few moments of playing time in this historic game."

Troy Aikman: "46--10. And, the Patriots will win today by the same score of their defeat at the hands of the Bears over 20 years ago."

Joe Buck: "This just in from our producers, Troy. Mike Ditka and Don Shula have both been removed from the premises in straightjackets after trying to jump from their luxury box."

Patriots-35
Giants-35

Overtime.

Ball on Patriots 45

Giants have the ball

Eli Manning drops back, looks over the middle for Steve Smith, ball is picked off by Tedy Bruschi. Bruschi takes it all the way back to the 20, as he is being tackled he laterals it Junior Seau. Seau breaks a tackle and walks in for the game winner.

You trying to give me a heart attack or something?

This is better.

Brady taking a kneee with the Pats up by 50 is my ideal game ending play.

my medical coverage is good but I dont feel like testing with a trip to the hospital for heart episodes Ill take a kneel down with 40 seconds left and us up by 21

or how about the game finishes much like the Rams-Titans game with a quick slant to Moss, except with Moss's long arms he stretches to actually reach the end zone. (oh, and it would be for the win instead of the tie)

I am hoping for the last two plays.

1 and 10 M. Cassel kneels for -1.
2 and 11 M. Gutierrez knells for -1.
Time expires.

I don't get all the "Brady kneeling" scenarios presented. If the Patriots were 16-2 right now, sure, I'll take another thriller ending to a SB. But, come off it, this one is historic. The best ending for this SB would involve Gutierrez (Brady removed 3rd quarter, Cassel out early in 4th) taking 4 straight knees at the Giant 1 yard line with score something like 58 - 0.

The best SB ending play would be the Patriots kicking off to the Giants for the eleventh time with 4 seconds left and Kelly Washington picking up the fumble and walks into the endzone as time expires. Patriots 67 Giants 3

Here is one for all the Vinitari haters....

Down by 2, Stephen Gostkowski kicks a 44 yard FG with 7 seconds left in the fourth quarter, in the post game presser, BB responds to a question comparing the kickers with, "Adam who?"

how about this...

the giants score a touchdown to grab a 4 point lead with 20 seconds left in the game. The pro giants crowd goes CRRRRAZY. the camera pans to an excited don shula and mercury morris. its almost as if theres a collective sigh of relief amongst the nfl nation. the giants are one the sidelines acting as if the game was already won.then......

the giants kick off to hobbs who returns the ball to the patriot 30.

16 seconds left.....

the world can feel the upset....

with 1st and 10 on the patriot 30 tom brady throws a deep post to donte stallworth for 19 yds through the giants prevent defense.

patriots have to burn their final timeout. 10 seconds left.

the giants are playing deep and brady throws the same post to stallworth but its incomplete batted down by ross.

you might as well drop the confetti from the heavens and roll out the podium and hand the trophy to the giants because this game is over. the commentators are reading our obituary and the pudgy fingers of the journalists are typing their "I told you so's" on their laptops.

the patriots come out in what will be the final play of the game. 3 wide shotgun faulk in the backfield. stallworth to the left of the formation, moss and welker to the right.

brady gets the snap, moss runs a deep slant to the left side of the field welker runs the same route but under moss' slant. brady throws the ball to welker. the giants defense swarms him but he laterals the ball to stallworth in the middle of the field stallworth streaks down the right sideline, hes at the twenty throws an errant lateral to kevin faulk who catches it with one hand. faulk runs the ball to the left at the 5 yd line with 1 guy to beat welker blindsides the last guy and kevin dives in and ultimately wins superbowl mvp.

the end

Pats up by less than a touchdown, :02 seconds left. Eli throws a desperation pass that gets picked by Hobbs or Meriweather who goes out of bounds with no time left even with an open path to the End Zone. We win and get a clear sign that there's a future vet with his head in the right place, ready to step up and replace one of the old guys.

If it does come down to a Hail Mary, there's no one better to have on your team then Randy Moss.

I've always wanted by at the same time not wanted if you now what I mean, a sick play to end the Super Bowl besides a field goal, like a kickoff return as time expires or something.

Imagine this.

Giants-28
Patriots-24

8 seconds left, 4th quarter, ball on the Giant 40.

Brady drops back, with all day to throw, unleashes a bomb to the endzone. Randy Moss jumps up and one hands it in the back corner over Aaron Ross and Webster. Time expires.

I always come up with some crazy scenario to end a game for fun and that one always pops up. A one hander in the back of the endzone from Moss.

Anyone got any other crazy endings you can come up with?

No, I prefer the victory formation kneel down for victory much more than that. Thank you very much.

That's my ideal win as well.

I'm happy with all the close victories this season - the Baltimore game alone was a seasons worth.

I'd be perfectly happy to read about everyone grousing about the Patriots running up the score in the 3rd quarter with the most lopsided SB victory ever.

Actually now that I see this. Were up say 42-17 theoretically. This would be funny for all the trolls in the world. After the 2 minute warning in the 4th and the Giants have no timeouts.

Tom Brady rush for -2 yards

Tom Brady rush for -2 yards

Tom Brady passes to Randy Moss for 73 yard gain (TOUCHDOWN) But it gets better.

Tom Brady passes to Mike Vrabel (2pt conversion good!).

Then I guess we could go for the onsides kick.
