After 20 straight weeks of football (overlapped by the baseball season and playoffs, basketball, etc), if I didn't spend the day with my girlfriend I'd probably be looking for a new one by the Super Bowl.

I think just try not to focus on it, do something else, go outside (if you can avoid frostbite). Of course, here I am posting on a Pats message board over a week before the game, so the jury's still out on how successful this plan will be.

Lmao... I have 2 kids Birthday parties this weekend. My children were born January 26th 2005, Jan 31 1996 and Feb 4th 2002 ( yes... I was living in Belgium at that time, staying up until 4 am to watch the Patriots win that first Superbowl.... KNOWING that I would be in the hospital at 7 am to be induced)

So we have a party on Sarurday, SUnday and then another one on Feb
2nd... We made sure to have no parties the day of the game

Thats what I was thinking too. And maybe some poker as well. I still love to watch the 1st SB win. The looks on everyone's faces is abso -freaking-un believable! Yeah.

This would be the perfect weekend for a College Football Championship Game (after having the playoffs earlier this month). Oh that's right they have to be in school...what's that? a bunch of college kids are playing in a football game this weekend? But I thought that was one of the reasons they couldn't play this late in the year? Maybe it's the money, but then wouldn't the game be a huge money maker on a Sunday when there is no other football at all? Must be that the game that starts after 9PM EST on a Monday night would draw better.
