This is just another example of how BB is ahead of the rest of the world. Who would have guessed that the Pats would be the ones shortening the game with a 15 play, three tight-end formation, keeping the Chargers off the field for the last 9 minutes of the game? So Bill picked up a little known tight end a few weeks ago just for this purpose. The Chargers wern't ready for it and couldn't answer. They were gassed, and the Pats could have scored easily if they wanted to.

BTW, Brady, heavily criticized here, made zero mistakes when it counted, and the line & backs just did their jobs brilliantly, as always when the game's on the line. And Moss, who "experts" said was invisible, made several great blocks in this stretch.

When the Giants figure out how to take ownership of the fourth quarter, as they couldn't in week 17 (nor could the Cowboys, Colts, Jaguars or Chargers), it could then be an interesting game.

Hey, can his nickname be Mr. Spach! Ahead warp factor 2! ;)

Spock can Blach would of been a better title.

Well... I think we all knew the Patriots were capable of that. I don't think anyone here thought the Chargers were capable of that.

So the answer to your question: Most people.

His blocks are 1/2 physical and 1/2 Vulcan mind meld.

I don't know much about Spach, but I'm very happy for him. He helped the team out by doing his job when we needed him to after our TEs got hurt, and now he's getting a super bowl trip. I'm sure he appreciates the opportunity.

As long as they work, beam me up! Another BTW: Spach (Mr Spock to the opposition) was the only Vulcan and 5th Fresno State Bulldog on the field last week, re-joining college teammates Mankins and Sanders, as well as two Bolt Dogs.

Not to quibble, but I'd say 3rd and goal from the 2 "counts." It didn't hurt us in the end, but let's not bill walsh this guy THAT much.

I'm with you on that one. That ranks up there with the Champ Bailey INT a few years ago as one of Brady's worst.

I should have been clearer. I meant the final nine minute stretch, where Tom & teammates kept the ball out of the Bolts' hands.
