During a night of drinking 2 buddies and me made a pact that the next time we had sex we had to yell "I think I'm gonna blow my eff wad".

The next week all three of us had had sex and got as far as "I think" and started laughing so hard we could not keep going. One girl was issed because she thought my buddy was laughing at her for queffing.

sorry this is OT but I had to share.

Coffee just came out of my nose.

I heard Boomer Easison say they same thing in his interview of WEEI. I'm thinking this is kind of like the use of the word "sucks." It used to be inapporiate in polite conversation but now you hear it everywhere. Also the term "balls" as in, "has he got the balls to do that?"

Things change.

What changed isn't that it's become more acceptable, it's become less! As others have noted, this was originally a phrase about a wad of cash (particularly in the context of sitting down at a gambling table). But "shooting your wad" sounded so...er...moist that it acquired the second meaning. Now the dictionary definition looks like this:

13. shoot one's wad, Informal.
a. to spend all one's money: He shot his wad on a new car.
b. to expend all one's energies or resources at one time: She shot her wad writing her first novel and her second wasn't as good.
c. Slang: Vulgar. (of a man) to have an orgasm.

Based on the reaction in this thread, I conclude that patsfans have a lot more sex than money. :)
