What is up with Mike Greenberg of Mike & Mike? He starts of the show today AGAIN saying Brady is just doing this for attention. That he is a media whore and purposely went to NYC to get the this attention. He was not joking! Mike Gollic called him an idiot for saying something so stupid, but Greenberg went on to say that Tom then chose to go to a hot spot in NYC that same name 'Butter' where there are a ton of photographers always camped out and went there with Gisele to again get the attention he so craves.

Butter is like any normal higher end restaruant in NYC. Photographers do not camp out at any one place in NYC since there are so many. They got word Tom was there (tip off from inside) and only got them exiting the restaurant not going in.

What is up with this guy. Why, all of a sudden would he think that Tom Brady is a media whore???? He has never been like that so why now? He wore sunglasses and a hood walking from the car into his house. He went to dinner with his girlfriend, shoot the guy. I know he loves the Jets and hates the Patriots, but he has always been very complimentary of Brady. I guess he has reached his full of them winning and winning and winning. What an a@@hole!

He definitely did NOT say that. Mercury Morris said that on their show yesterday. In fact, Greenie and Golic have been arguing over whether a win in the SB would make the Pats the "best ever", and it's been Greenberg who's been arguing that they would be (as much as it pains him as a Jets fan). So, get your facts straight.

I actually like Mike Greenberg, and I always have, despite his Jets allegiance. He's one of the fairer guys to the Patriots generally, and I really think he's taking the "attention whore" angle just to get a rise out of both Golic and the listeners. He does that quite often.

Unwatchable show, unwatchable people. I had to stop watching most all of these shows this year, and as a life time lover of all sports, it seems odd to be watching TLC, Discovery Channel, TruTV,BioTV,etc all the time.
For asports fix, sometimes I can deal with Mike and Mad Dog, and a very tiny handful ( Salisbury,Keyshawn,the dudes on ESPN news, not regular ESPN) But Greenberg is an example of a paid whore in a 2 bit haircut that will basically say anything, and as stated above, he is a Jets Yankees fan, and hates Boston teams.

Couldn't have said it better myself. He can be annoying at times, but I'm always entertained by their show (though I usually only catch 45 minutes or so each day on the way to work). Yes, Greenberg is a Jets fan (he's far less vocal about the Yankees), but he constantly heaps praise on Brady - saying things like "I hate him because he's so good for our rival, but man would I love him if he was on the Jets." I find that to be refreshingly honest, as compared to a Jets homer who might say "Brady sucks" or "he's a system QB". A lot of these guys try too hard to hide their allegiance (can't think of a good example in football, but Gammons is the perfect one in all sports), while many others are blatant homers (Hoge). Greenberg doesn't hide his fanhood, but also doesn't let it influence his commentary, etc. I respect that.

Greeney actually goes back and forth with Pats bashing. He has professed that he is a Jests fan and will jump on any chance to take a cheap shot at Pats. Golic is actually not that bad to listen to. Gives fairly good insight about players' point of view and is in general very fair in his assessement. Greeney is an ***** hat.

espn is the worst offender of the "east coast bias". that's a nice little euphemism for ny bias. there are too many ny lovers on that channel. it has rendered one of my favorite channels unwatchable. can you imagine if isaiah thomas was sexually harrassing women and running the c's into the ground. it would be bigger than cameragate.
