Randy moss did have a 4 td catch game this year, and the most tds in a superbowl is 3, so if moss hits 4 tds he would break another record, again against the giants DB.

Who do you think will be the superbowl MVP?

Brady. Although Moss will have his best game of the playoffs.

Brady. Unless Moss has like 4 TD's, but even then, that means Tom still has 4. I'd love to see Moss get it though.

If its NE I also think Moss will have the biggest game, possibly the biggest of the season with something like 190 yards receiving

If its the Giants I think Brandon Jacobs would be the front runner

The blueprint has been written as to how to slow down Moss and I see no reason why the Giants would go away from that. They will make the other players beat them.

Actually a scenario I can see him getting it is, and I don't want to envision this scenario but if it did occur it'd be like...

T. Brady 256yds 3td's 2INT
R. Moss 175yds 3tds

That's the only type of way Moss would get it. If Brady has stats like over 300yds, throws 3+ TD's, without getting picked off more than once or at all i can't see Moss getting it unless 90% of it is his catching the ball.

Remember those weak push off calls that the refs called on moss in this season?

I wonder if that situation will come up this superbowl.

First, the BS the Patriot lovin' media keeps spewing about how Moss is doubled every play needs to stop. The Chargers singled Moss up with Cromartie 85% of the game Sunday, and Cromartie friggin' kicked his ass up and down the field. I don't know if it's the off-the-field issues he has right now or just that he's older and wearing down, but Moss isn't remotely the same player he was early in the season.
Hey look everybody, it's Ron Jaworski from after the Eagles game!

I assume you are a Charger fan

Why the Fu-ck are you not getting ready for the Padres season and out of this forum? - Is there a reason you have to be here when your team is already at the Golf course in south Cali?

Remember the screen play with moss throwing to brady against the squealers?

Well maybe this time the play is run at the 5 yard line and rather than the moss throwing it back to brady, he throws it into the endzone and gets a throwing TD on top of his already 4 catching TDs?

that would be sweet.

Only way for Moss to get it, I think, is if Brady has a big game, but with 75% of the yardage and at least 2 TDs going to Moss (with no more than 4 overall).

I think it's much more likely Brady gets it; also, if Moss gets it, I believe it will has signaled quite a close game. Which may be nerve-wracking for some of you Pats fans. Only 5 receivers have gotten it compared to 20 QBs, remember. And those games were 21-17, 32-14, 20-16, 24-21 and 21-10.

If you guys are expecting a huge amount of points, it's unlikely to be Moss.

Basically...if Brady has a great game, he'll get MVP, no matter what Moss does. Its like the regular season MVP, QB trumps WR...plus Moss having a great game will always be a plus for Brady's stats as well, wheras the opposite isnt true..as we saw in the Jacksonville game.

Honestly, I'm sure Moss would love to have a great game in the SB but i really think he'd rather do without the MVP. Dude wouldnt want to do any podium interviews or anything like that, he'd rather just be in the background and celebrate with his teammates off camera.

Really? Brady is no longer forcing him the ball in double and triple coverage just to set records, so Moss has regressed? Brady said after the SD game that Moss would be a "huge factor" in the Super Bowl, "you can count on that."

Game plan is what kept Moss low-key against the Jaguars. Brady having the flu/injured foot (whatever made him look drugged up and drained) and not throwing within 2 yards of Moss when he was wide open is what kept Moss from having few receptions in the SD game.

The Chargers are lucky Brady had an off-game, because Moss beat Cromartie and Jammer on a lot of routes and that score should have been a lot higher.

San Diego has the most annoying fans. At least other teams' fans talk a bunch of junk before the game and then leave when they lose. Losing only seems to make the Chargers' fans whine and talk trash more.

I don't care, as long as it is a Patriot.

I feel like it could be Seau if the pats win. I have no idea why. He's 50-1, maybe i should put 10 on it.

Maybe someone should figure out a blueprint that actually works. Either your coaches are too dumb or you don't really have one.

The Giants secondary is a weakness on their defense, and depending on how injured they still are/aren't, they may not have the depth or personnel to commit 2 guys to Moss's side as much as the more athletic and talented Chargers, or the deeper Jags.

All signs point to Brady, especially if he's back in form. But I could see Faulk, Welker, or LoMo getting consideration if Brady has an off day, and the Pats still pull it out.

I think Moss is the guy.

All the stars are aligning for him: a couple of "off" games, so the attention level of the opponent may be down; a HUGE ego that has never had a chance to be on this stage (think Michael Irvin, Jerry Rice or Terrell Owens); a Giants secondary that he torched in the regular season finale - dropped one bomb, cuaght the other...

I see him going 7-8-9 catches for 100+ yards and a couple of TDs...

Brady will win the MVP, its his year. Moss will contribute immensely, even if he doesn't catch one ball, tho, I think he'll have a couple of TD's. But Welker will have one, and Maroney will have another. Defensively, both Asante and Harrison will have a pick, not sure if they will return them. Tom will manage the game, whether his stats are huge or not, he will be MVP>

What if Brady throws 2 picks, and Moss can't do anything, but Welker or Maroney has a huge game?
