The stats are kind of close...

MEGGETT
RUSH: 398 for 1684, 4.2, 8 TDs
REC: 336 for 3038, 11 TDs

FAULK
RUSH: 694 for 2663, 3.8, 11 TDs
REC: 323 for 2818, 11 TDs

...but I'd so overall Kevin has surpassed the guy to whom he best compares from those old Giant teams. Similar type guys, roles, etc... - but the clutch factor, which was high for Meggett as well, is even more pronounced with #33.

Meggett does have the lead in Felonies however....

how about return stats though

how about return stats though

nevermind, i'll get it....

kfaulk:
kick returns
173-3918 yds-2 td-22.6 avg
punt returns
84-769-0 td-9.2 avg

meggett:
kick returns
252-5566 yds-1 td-22.1 avg
punt returns
349-3708 yds-7 tds (including one huge one in 96 when we played in new york on parcells' first visit playing his old team)-10.6 avg

obv meggett got more returns, for kick avg faulk is actually better and has one more td, but meggett was clearly the better punt returner

I think they're about equal as passers, too. :D

But was Meggett THAT good a pass blocker? I don't recall.

i seem to remember sam gash doing all the blocking. meggett was ok, but i'll take faulk anyday over him.
