How disappointed, dejected, and outright depressed would you be if we lost? I'm not saying I am panicking, because really I'm not, but there's so much positive energy around here lately it's like some people overlook our weaknesses.

I would take a week vacation off from work, and get a prescription for prozac due to the depression that i would be in..

LOSE ? What is that ?

For the meek, they can watch the Miami Dolphins 2007 season highlights vid

Oh, yeah, we can't have too much positivity around here!

How long have you been here anyway? Stick around, the sky will fall in here soon enough.

I havent considered the possibility of us losing for at least 3 months.
I cant answer your question, because it is an impossibility in my mind.

Well I would be pissed and I wouldn't watch sports shows for a couple of weeks but the Pats won't lose so no worries. There is no way that the Pats lose.

I have no idea why you started this thread but:

If they lose I'm hunting you down for starting this bad karma crap thread.

lucky for me..im going to Vegas from PHX on the following WED night so yeah....i think you know what comes next...a whole lot of drinking and gambling to take away the pain

Very? Does that sound about right? What kind of an answer are you looking for when starting a thread like this?

Anyway, to answer your question, I'd be very depressed, somewhere between 'My pet just died' and 'my arm randomly fell off'. I think that's about right, hopefully I'm being specific enough to answer your extremely vague and pointless question.

I'd be bummed.

Probably have to get away from sports for a while.

I'd get away from Patsfans for a few days, and then get psyched about Spring training and the 2008 draft. But it ain't gonna happen! Pats by 10.

I'd be thankful for SB36, SB38, and SB39. Roger Staubach won two and lost two Super Bowls with the '70's Cowboys... yet I still think of his teams as winners. Same with this one.

Same with me. Like the rest of you, I love these guys and it would break my heart for them to come this far and not finish it off - but at the end of the day we still have 3 Super Bowl wins and I can live with that :D

Never happen but for those who need to plan for everything, no matter how unlikely, keep in mind the Grand Canyon is not far.

Not go to work because being in indy i would never hear the end of it. But hey still got farther than the colts. I s it to early to predict 38 and 0?

Bingo! Good answer........I do not foresee any chance that the Gints win this game....I will always cherish this season (Mostly because they WILL GO 19-0!!! (a feat that will NEVER be matched...) Pats will win this game by 10-12 points when it is all said and done....one man's opinion

I would probally not allow myself to watch ESPN and listen to all the haters trash on us.

Because of the stakes and all the emotional investment into this season, I would be extremely disappointed. I think this has been the most intense, fun, exciting, weird, emotionally taxing season of any sport team I've followed, even surpassing the 03 & 04 Sox seasons when I lived a few hundred yards from Fenway Park. All the hype, the media, the adversity, the controversies, etc., all the time spent on this message board and talking with fellow Pats fans, it all has to end in 19-0 or it will be a letdown. I try not to think of the possibility of losing.

Though as I said in another thread - long term, it would still be another thing (16-0) to add to the Brady/BB resume, win or lose on Feb 3rd. But in the short term, a loss would feel plain brutal.

Any and all.

I'm somewhat of a glass is half empty kind of guy, not expecting them to lose but just can't imagine how deflated and depressed I would be. Probably would take phone off hook for week and focus only on work.

And to the guy who mentioned the tone around here, I've lurked for a while before deciding to create an account, and yeah I know there are lots of negative Nancy's such as myself, mainly on Laurence Maroney (although I love him), but lately a wave of "there's no way we can lose" has swept over the board. And I don't like it. I'd rather people be a little worried so it's not jinxed. Nothing is a given.
