i just heard on FSN and then again on NFL network that ahh ohh the Giants are 10-1 on the road this year. OMFG I am scared now what ever will we do its not like we haven't been good in our home jersey's this year, or since week week 10 2006 to be exact, is it? Its not like we haven't lost a home playoff game since 1978 is it??? Oh no we are toast! wheres that sig with the toast on it when you need it?

Signed,
A scared idiot

Those streaks have about as much bearing on the Super Bowl as the ones my dog left on my carpet.

My favorite one is that Eli Manning hasn't thrown an interception in the playoffs, YET:rolleyes: !

10 and 2 is still a good record...

Well, the Super Bowl crowd is likely to be overwhelmingly Giants fans (or people rooting for the Pats to lose), so it could very well FEEL like a homegame for them, neutralizing that advantage. My suspicion is the Giants played better on the road because at home Eli was constantly afraid of being booed by his own fans. Now that fear will be as alive as ever, and add that to the pressure of the Super Bowl, and I suspect we may well see the Manning face before the end.

But Randy Moss only has 2 catches for 30 yards! Eli's a bona fide superstar and Moss is just showing why he's untrustworthy and his effort is giving out!

I read between the lines and sense much uneasiness in your words Pat fans. You've watched your team sputter and stumble over the finish line these past several games, when the so-called experts assured you that they would be blow-outs. Meanwhile, you've witnessed the New York Football Giants gaining momentum, starting with the narrow loss to you guys in week 16. You've now seen them dispatch several worthy opponents, sending them home crying.... literally. You're quietly thankful for the extra week till the SB, hoping this might defalte the mighty Giant juggernaut. I believe though, coach TC will adjust accordingly and have the engine running at full power by game time. When the Giants prevail, please do all us football fans one favor. Convince your coaches and players to hold the tears.......It's very unbecoming.:nono:

no offense but you post like a loser

You wouldn't call the win in Green Bay last week "sputtering and stumbling" over the finish line?

The Patriots beat the Jaguars (a better team than the Giants in every way) handily despite the Jaguars playing a great game. They beat the Chargers (another team better than the Giants) convincingly despite playing a crappy game.

The Giants had to play the best game they've played in years to merely come within 3 points of beating the Patriots, who hardly played their best game. I'm not too worried about the outcome of this game.

Wow, dude, I see a lot of trolls, but just wow. I mean, you do honestly realize that when you say "sputter and stumble" over the finish line you're describing teams like the Cowboys who badly faded down the stretch. My friend, I try not to feed the trolls, but come on, YOU REALIZE THE PATS HAVE NOT LOST A GAME ALL YEAR, RIGHT?

I can't speak for everyone on this board, but even those of us who don't wear the Pats-colored glasses constantly, were infinitely more worried about the Jags and the Chargers than the Giants. I'm not saying a win is guaranteed, but if you're reading uneasiness, you're reading wrong.

A person can only HOPE to be the intelligent poster you are some-day.

I'm not really sure what you're babbling about, but in the future if you could try to sound like less of a loser when you post, that would great.

edit: Unless you are a loser, in which case it's not your fault, and I apologize.

Since Giants fans will outnumber Pats fans by a 3:1 margin at the SB, it'll be more of a home game for them than it will be for us.

I'm convinced now that IS your real picture.

It's David Cross. Seriously though, no need for name calling, but your statement smacked of just being an antagonistic troll. If you actually want to talk some X's and O's, there are plenty around here who'd be more than happy, but don't expect a warm response for the typical "you should be quaking in your boots" garbage.

I just blue myself.

Your name says all we need to know. "Street Scum". Wonderful NY public school system at work...your tax dollars at work people...

Another case for school vouchers.:rocker:

I love how everyone drops this 10-1 road number, as if comes close to comparing with the Pats who have won 18 in a row, with 8-0 on the road. Its pretty damn impressive to go 10-1 on the road, but the Pats are better. I don't have the time, but I would like to see a comparison of stats between the Pats play on the road versus the Giants.

Pats are 8-0 on the road this year :D
